• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Traded my 2019 Ryker Rally for a New Canyon Standard - First Impressions

Ryker to Canyon might be a logical step for some. However, I do not see RT or F3 riders doing that. As I and Lamonster have stated, don't go very far off road on one.

Any Spyder Shipping Recommendations - Maine to Texas?

Too bad your health does not allow you to do the ride. I did a 6 day repositioning ride of one of my Spyders last spring at a month short of 80. It was 1850 miles, East Valley of Phoenix to NW Washington via Northern California on Highway 1 and 101 through Oregon and part of Washington. Hitting...

Kitt Peak - Mount Lemon two day ride

As a side note: https://www.resizepixel.com/ worked easily to resize 3 mb photos to 500kb. You select compress and set the output size.

Kitt Peak - Mount Lemon two day ride

A nice two day ride from the Phoenix area. We left Gold Canyon for Kitt Peak, Florence, Coolidge, South on 287. Just short of I-10 we turned East on E Milligan Rd, South on S Vail Rd, to Frontage Rd that runs on the North side of I-10 24.6 miles vs running I-10 to Manara and lunch at McDonalds...

Had to wear Gloves for Can Am riding course - Do you wear gloves? Why? Or why not?

Rode back from Tucson in 90+ weather with these gloves yesterday. The fabric back allows them to breath. https://www.acehardware.com/departments/tools/workwear-and-safety-gear/work-gloves/7502511

Can you feel any Difference in the Suspension between an XT and a RedRock Canyon?

A good off road vehicle needs four wheel drive with lockers front and back. If you watch Matt's Off Road Recovery, Trailmater, or Fab Rats, you'll see them recovering all wheel drive cars and SUVs that get stuck on flat terrain. It will be interesting to hear their comments when they pull out...

My Saturday ride up the Yakima River Canyon and beyond.

I drive the Canyon road often. Will be going North on May 11th.

Over White Pass, back Snoqualmie Pass

I drive the Yakima River Canyon a lot rather than the I-82 freeway. Probably will go North in the Canyon on May 11th.

    Canyon Test Ride

The think the whole Canyon deal is a pump and dump! If you really want one, wait a year and see how many used ones are for sale. Lamonster said the truth about going off road with one in the review I watched.

Battery drained after 3 & 1/2 weeks standing, cranking slow, and throwing VSS Error - is this normal? Any help appreciated...

The spyder has a pretty high paralytic current drain. If you have a meter that can measure milliamps of current, you could remove a battery cable, and insert the meter in the circuit and read the milliamps that flow with the key off. 1000 milliamps equals 1 amp. So if it reads 100 milliamps you...

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

If the dealer can't even read the recall, I am not sure that I would want them doing it!

Canyon Redrock Ride Review by Lamonster

I've got a couple of Canyon questions: Does the Canyon have integrated recovery points on the front and rear to hook up a winch line or tow strap; and Does the Canyon have a rollover check valve in the fuel tank vent line, and does it have an engine shutdown sensor in case it rolls over?

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

Funny, my dealer said BRP paid for the oil. However, they charged me for the oil filter, crush washers, and O-rings. The oil and the coolant have to be removed to pull the engine and tear down the transmission. So those two things are covered along with the transmission filter.
