• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lifting a Spyder HF Deal

When I first read that in the manual, I was like :hun::hun::hun:. Seems like it should be the other way around..... press the pedal halfway and it comes down slow, press it all the way and it comes down fast. That would make more sense to me :gaah: Pam

    Lifting a Spyder HF Deal

Mine descends rapidly, but I don't think I would describe it as "slamming" down. I agree with you though, if I used the lift on a more frequent basis, I'd be inclined to upgrade. Pam

Who gets up this early in the morning to write posts ?

I always get up early, but I usually don't read posts on SpyderLovers until Ive had a chance to eat a couple Snickers bars. Pam

    Mandatory Addition to Spyder Enjoyment

Yes, this is one of the great benefits of a brand specific forum such as this. I too have learned a lot here, and would have had a much harder time navigating through my DIY projects without it. Congratulations on hitting 100! However, I must say that I would prefer the post count be...

    bushings for windshield

I was shopping for those also when I changed windshields. I couldn't believe BRP actually charges that much for those little things. I messaged customer service because I thought it was a misprint, but the response was "Nope, not a misprint. That's what we charge for them".:banghead: Pam

    Air Wings ...

+1 on the Bakers. I ride all winter and they help keep me warm. In the summer, they deflect much of the heat away from me. You just have to get used to the look of them. Pam

Do I really need a new swaybar?

Since we're all sheep, I guess maybe BajaRon should change his name to Baaaaa ha Ron :roflblack: But he did refer to riding as a "Hobby" so perhaps he was confusing us with his knitting club.;) Pam

    Motorcycle Lift

I already had my Harbor Freight motorcycle lift for my previous motorcycles when I switched to the Spyder. If I was buying one today, I might look at some other options. But the one I have works fine. Pam

    First Syder code flashing.

If it's a icon of a motorcycle with squiggly lines behind it, in the 5 O'Clock position on the the right side, it's the Nanny Light. It flashes on briefly when the Nanny doesn't like something that you just did. Go really fast around a corner and watch, she'll light up. It basically means the...

    Squared Away team

It's funny, I was on the phone today with Joe discussing an issue that I was having with my fender lights, and he told me that he and Ann were on their way home to help you with your tire issue. Those two are a couple of the most awesome humans on the planet. I'm glad they were able to help...

Need Spyder delivered from FL to IN

Ride it home I agree with everyone who says to fly there, taxi to the dealership (or ask them to pick you up), and ride it home. When I was shopping for mine last year, I shopped by phone and internet Florida, Texas, New Mexico, and California dealers and was prepared to fly and ride. I ended...
