• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Quick loctite question

"Farkle" is a word they use here to mean, "Mod". They also use words like "ryde" to mean "ride". It's something you'll get used to in time I guess. Pam

That's funny. It made me dig up this old article from 2012. You should share this with your Mom. http://detroit.cbslocal.com/2012/04/30/calif-man-sues-bmw-for-persistent-erection/

    RIDE ON

I have been using Ride-On for several years over three different motorcycles, plus my Spyder. I have never experienced any "break in" period. I have always enjoyed a smooth ride, and exceptionally long life on my tires. I do not permit any weights to be put on my wheels. It's important that...

    bad service

I'm sorry to hear that the Baker family has fallen upon challenging times. I wish them the best. I had a horrible customer service expericence with Baker several years ago when I bought airwings for my Goldwing. As I'm known to do, I posted my displeasure publicly, and eventually received a...

    Let's see your Spyder!

There's a guy in Ohio (I think), who's name I won't mention, who makes wraps but refuses to make anything patriotic or with an American flag on it. I got mine from this company. http://www.spiralusspyder.com/index.html Pam

Why you should use your battery tender

:agree: I don't know where that silly idea that leaving the key in the ignition will cause the battery to run down or cause fault codes came from, but it's another of those that are aimed at the gullible. There's no plausable explanation as to how or why that could happen. I always leave my key...

    Anyone using eco mode? Beneficial?

It's a waste of technology. If you don't know how to ride, and need the green arrow to tell you when to shift then it's somewhat useful. But you're better off without it.This topic has been discussed on copious threads :bdh: Pam

Why you should use your battery tender

I agree, it's always wise to plug the tender in when parking the bike for the night. Aside from keeping the battery charged, it also conditions it, adding to it's life. Some people think you only need to plug in the battery tender when parked for extended periods, but that's their choice. Pam

    My first impressions

:congrats::agree:When I was in a situation where I had to trade in my Victory Vision and go to three wheels, I did a demo on a Harley Tri-glide. I had never ridden a trike before and I felt as if I was driving a farm tractor. The handling was awful. I then demoed the Spyder RT, and...

    bobble head

Yes, the BajaRon swaybar will help in dirty air as far as control, but probably not with the head buffeting. No, addition of the BajaRon swaybar will not affect your warranty. Pam
