• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hello my fellow Minnesotans

Welcome from Cold Spring! Congrats on your F3S purchase! Spend some time on it before you spend too much on accessories. That way you can narrow it down to the things you really need and are right for you.

Will a F3 Monoseat Cowl fit an F3T

I would say absolutely yes! It mounts the same as the passenger seat.

    Wasted Power in 900?

The efficiency & function of CVT clutches is based on the gear ratio of the final drive. A change in gear ratio will probably not allow clutches to shift out properly or at all. The gear change would require clutch changes, such as weights, springs & helix. CVT clutches found in snowmobiles...

Where did you find his email? Pretty important selling tool I couldn't find on his site!

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

The info on that 'Flash Order Form' is the info he should have on one of the tabs on his website headers. It's the info I was looking for and would not have found without your help. I didn't look there because I wasn't ready to order until I could do more research. Thanks! Mike

    What to buy???? F3T or F3Limited ????????

Bummer, didn't realize they changed it for 2019. Well, for a performance advantage, buy a 2018 or older F3-T!

    What to buy???? F3T or F3Limited ????????

There is a performance advantage to the F3-T that no one as mentioned. The T has a larger rear sprocket (like the F3S) than the Limited. It will have noticeably better acceleration over the Limited. If performance is a priority, that is certainly something to consider.

What am I missing? I can't find anything on Monster's website about Stage 2. There's a Gen 1 & Gen 2 for '17 and newer, but no mention of stage 2. Also, no way to contact them except through their website. I find their site lacking much of any info. Am I blind?

Ryker front tires size is Proprietary! Thanks again BRP........

We don't yet know anything about these particular Kendas on the new Ryker. These tires are different than the ones on the Spyders (same brand - different models), and the Ryker weighs 300 - 400lbs. less than the RT's & F3's. The handling and wear of these new Kendas on the new Ryker could be...

Riders vs. none riders opinion of Spyders-Rykers

It's the whole bike vs. trike thing. Many two wheel riders turn their nose up at a trike. I know one of the groups I ride with has a couple of riders that won't give my Daytona the time of day! Their loss! I enjoy them all, even though I haven't owned a two wheel motorcycle.

Ok, Let's try this again from a different angle...

bscofield84, to be clear, you're talking about your Spyder ST not the 900 Ryker this thread is about, correct?

Ryker front tires size is Proprietary! Thanks again BRP........

Point taken. I guess I'm just more a "glass is half full" guy. Maybe it's the comments like "It looks like the Ryker has more that one shaft associated with it. Thanks again BRP........" that had me more concerned. You have a good day too.

Ryker front tires size is Proprietary! Thanks again BRP........

Leland, do you have or are you planning to purchase a Ryker? You certainly have made plenty of negative posts about it... not just this thread, but other Ryker threads. Just trying to get a feel of where your coming from. I think some of the negative posts have been unwarranted. We don't...

Am I meeting something here about the oil

I wouldn't worry about it until you are able to get the engine up to normal operating temp. You have oil there, and I'm sure it will come up to at least the minimum after the engine is warmed up. Definitely no concern about engine damage! If you add oil now you might overfill and it would suck...

    Sway bar question.

Les, I wonder if someone had already installed a RT bar on your F3S. My stock sway bar on my F3 and my Daytona we're both smaller diameter than the stock RT bar.
