• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for helping me out (even if you didn't know you were)now for your opinion

I originally installed Kewlmetal highway footpegs and they were great. Then I got Seal floorboards and they are (in my opinion) even bettor. Don't get me wrong I would recommend either one but for me I like the Seals best.

Got the bouncing fuel gauge... For those who have replaced their gauge, is it worth having it done, or just go by the trip meter?

Replaced my gauges with Ram Mounts. Now I have the more accurate digital gauges and a place to mount my phone and GPS.

    Best Floorboards for me?

The Seals actually mount on the existing footpegs after taking the pads off (on my RT). I admit I would like them to be about 2 or 3 inches lower but being able to stretch my legs forward helps a lot.

    Seal Floorboard Problems

My solution I used a bolt with 3 small washers and one large washer on the outside along with a small washer, lock washer and nut on the inside. Hardest part was cutting the side of the large outside washer flat. Don't have a grinder so had to use a hacksaw. Did the right side with the...

Fan Blocking Plate Causes Heat Damage to RT

I have had issues withe steering assist shutting down because of excessive heat (thats what the dealer diagnosed it as anyway) . The dealer says it's because I have the top vent blocked. I haven't drilled any holes yet but I do have the splash pan removed.

    Steering Assist

Yes, that is exactly what I am experiencing. I noticed it most on a couple of charity rides where you are going fairly slow and have to negotiate turns at low speed after the Spyder was heated up.

    Steering Assist

Thanks for your replies guys. I feel better knowing they may be on he right track. Shouldn't have doubted as they have never let me down before. In answer to the previous question, yes I removed the splash pan when I installed the heat blocker.
