• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone running or tried BUDS on MacBook (Pro)?

That can't be right! There is tons of info out there on how to install WIN11 ARM64 on Mac Pro M1/M2 machines...

Whining at 45 MPH - Anyone recall what causes this?

My guess is the belt tension has changed a bit (less) and it why it has lessened some... Might wanna try an even lower tension setting as a lot of folks have reported that it has stopped their "noise" and "vibrations"... I have lowered it on my '15 F3S due to vibs and it also now no longer makes...

Anyone running or tried BUDS on MacBook (Pro)?

EDIT: Sorry, misread your post. The tricky thing about running an "external drive OS source" is getting the program to fully run from it and recognize the license key location... You will just have to be very careful when doing the installation of the BUDS program and MAKE SURE you point ALL of...

F3-S Daytona at the drag strip tonight - original March '23; update June '25

Ahhh the good ole days! Congrats on having fun out there.... Last time I did 1/4mi stuff was waaaay back when I had my 2007 Ducati S4RS with carbon everything, including the WHEELS! Best run was 9.98 @140.88 and dabbing the rear brake to keep the front down. Traction is a bitch ain't it? ;-)

Customer Accessory Circuit completely DEAD! Any thoughts?

Normally I would agree, but these things are smaller than the average relay and very stout in nature. There is NO flex in these things at all... Yes I have seen it before in all my years but that was on the larger less compact automotive units... OH well, it is what it is I guess. :banghead: I...

Customer Accessory Circuit completely DEAD! Any thoughts?

OK, the weird just got weirder! I switched the relays around with other identical ones and VOILA! The circuit is live again AND the circuit that I took the relay FROM is still working with the relay from the accessories circuit!! WTF!?

Customer Accessory Circuit completely DEAD! Any thoughts?

Oh yeah... I worked as a paid automotive tech for 22yrs before hanging it up... I have rewired the Sig Light on the GPS circuit te get it working but need to understand how the circuit went completely dead! I have yet to dive into the heated grips as I need a better understanding of what relays...

Customer Accessory Circuit completely DEAD! Any thoughts?

Got a weird one here. I have had this bike since new and have the Signature Light installed via the front accessory circuit under the frunk tub. Has worked fine for 7yrs. Found it not working the other day and in testing, there is NO voltage in this circuit. Not just on the downstream side of...

A request for an additional feature, 'Return to Top of Page', if possible

If you are not at the bottom to access this "top" button, simply hit the "HOME" button on the keyboard! Also, use the "END" button to get to the bottom of the page if needed.... Also, "Page Up & Page Down" to move a full screen at a time through the page... The "Arrow" keys can take over...

Which is a better choice, directional tires or symmetrical tires?

But it DOES AGE them out for sure! ;-) Ozone eats them up slowly but surely. I would replace full depth tires if they were 5yrs old or more.... But that's just me, I ask a LOT of my tires.....

Anyone here tried a NOCO Li-Ion battery?

Or, you have more hardware in you than most hardware stores! Trust me, it makes a difference when you are turning the damn thing in the twisties.... ;-)

1330cc Is an ECU Modification permanent? Will BUDS overwrite it next service?

I have the Stage 2 from Monster/WickIt and I can start the bike WITHOUT pressing the mode and drive off!! BUT, I still have the stoopid message scrolling, so at some point I do have to press the Mode button if I wanna see anything else on the dash. But at least I have made a clean...

1330cc Is an ECU Modification permanent? Will BUDS overwrite it next service?

This option is ONLY for 2017 and newer though, just to be clear.... ;-) EDIT: The same goes for the new programmer from Monster/WickIt....

Any info on Track Days for Spyders? (Northern CA)

Only 1/4 mile stuff! I have done many track days in my life and I gotta say that a full day at the track muscling a Spyder around would be one helluva workout!! Get em! ;-) Where in NorCal are ya BTW?

    A word about brake pads...

Not on my 15 F3S! It had sintered pads as delivered new... They were WAY too hard for even a Sintered pad and I swapped them out for EBC's early on... Maybe some older Spyders came with organics but I would hazard to say that anything 2015 and newer is NOT Organic... Just sayin'.... ;-)
