• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Fuel Injector Cleaner When/How Much

I had this same question recently. I've resorted to adding in an injector cleaner fluid every 5-10 thousand Kms with doses per the products instructions. Prior to this there would be times where my '17RTL would hesitate coming out of a stop sign, but haven't experienced it since doing this (it...

RT622 Trailer weather seal kit fm Spyderpops won't quite fit - what've I missed?

I recently purchased the replacement weather seal kit for the hoods on my 622 trailer from Spyderpops. After fitting the new seal I noticed the seal doesn't make contact with the hoods in some places, which would allow water+ wind to get in and dust. Is there an adjustment somewhere that I...

Long term storage of spare tyre - how?

I have just purchased a new rear tyre for my '17 RTL and the dealership offered a discount if I bought 2. Does anyone out there in tyre land know the best way to store the tyre for say 12 months. I've heard: Dont need to do anything wrap it in plastic Wrap it in plastic sandwich wrap/cling...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Now that would make up for it. Never seen a snowmobile in real life, is it as much fun to operate?

What did you do to your Spyder today?

That would be hard - not being able to ride. So lucky here in Australia.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

After having a number of issues with my driving lights/wiring/relay i ripped it all out. I had thought I had killed my Baja Designs S2 Pro Combo lights and in a last ditch effort connected them to an alternate power source - they were fine - phew - that was $600 i wasn't going to have to throw...

Has anyone tried these Mods to their RT622 Lid Seals? Better ideas?

Oh how I wish. As Pete stated, I am in OZ. I now barrack for the Canadian Swim Team - I think all parts for Spyders are transported by them across the Paciifc - strapped to their back. :)

Has anyone tried these Mods to their RT622 Lid Seals? Better ideas?

Hi Peter, I did just that. Went to Clark Rubber and grabbed the owner. We spent a few mins discussing a few options and he came up with some adhesive-backed EPDM rubber. I wasn't sure how long it would be before the new seals arrived from SpyderOps, and I'm taking the trailer on several rides...

RT 2010-2019 - When your rear aquaplanes which way does your RT Swing?

I took a trip up North of here and it poured the whole trip (about 3 hours), at times reduced to 70km/hr. My '17 RTL always swings to the right, it doesn't pull me off the direction of travel. Now that I'm used to it, it is less of a heartstopper. With the Kendas and Arachnid, it was a...

Thanks, that's the plan long term. The weather forecast suggests we have another wet ride home so I'm looking for something that I can do while away

Has anyone tried these Mods to their RT622 Lid Seals? Better ideas?

Am away with the chief cook and got an absolute drenching - in the RT622 trailer. The beading looks in good nick but it hasn't sealed well enough to keep the water out. I checked the way the luggage was packed and couldn't see anything pushing either of the lids up off their seals. I am...

When and where was the first time you rode a Can-Am tryke ??

At the dealership where I bought it. A mate had a '14 RTL and would come to visit and offer it to me to take for a ride. I'd say "NO it's something my cheque book would have to resolve if I did" Another mate to the two of us, had me come to the city with him and we decided to go to one of the...

Try BajaRon's stabilizer before getting new Shocks? Or What?

I fitted Wilburs which were built to my specs. The bike is much more comfortable to ride especially long distances and does everything much much better. I chose a more touring-oriented build than sports. The Spyder was nervous in rough corners, and when you encountered one of those corners...

Try BajaRon's stabilizer before getting new Shocks? Or What?

Shocks first, I was ambivalent, but rode one of each and went the shocks. The Stabilizer solved a problem, the shocks solved multiple.
