• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    First time I had mine out after dark, (don't like riding in the dark at all) damn, the headlights are great. Lights up the road better than my Ram 1500, I was impressed. Doesn't mean I now like night riding, LOL.

    24 RT with a Delay in gear upshift, but not all the time - anyone else? Any fixes?

    I know mine gives a pretty good lurch when coming on to it and upshifting, rpm's around 6K ±. Coming out of a short on ramp for instance trying to get up to speed fast.

    I'd be more concerned about that ^ - it's usually a sign of damn rodents, which also love to chew wires. My next door neighbour had mice get into her car; it was over $2K to get the wiring and seatbelts replaced.

    We don't have them here in NS, least not the stations I go to. Looks like a complete pia to me. Seems like it was designed by the same idiots that designed/mandated the ventless gas cans. You know, the ones that spill more fuel than the vented ones they replaced.

    Installed a power port for my GPS. I don't like the look of the big ones you mount in the dash below the bars so I hid mine under the left side cover. I was just going to put the power supply for my gps but I figured if I mounted av 12V receptacle I could plug anything in.

    Just wanted to share the unbridled joy and ease of riding the Spyder!

    I personally don't give a rats behind what others think about the Spyder, I like it is all that matters I bought it because I wasn't as stable on two wheels as I once was and didn't feel safe when stopping on uneven surfaces. Worrying about picking up 1000lbs of bike makes you a bit timid LOL.
