• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder has to stay at dealer?

Possibly a short term solution would be for you to give them a credit or debit card number. This might make them feel more comfortable in letting the Spyder go. Then when the part comes in you could bring it back. Knowing that they have your number this would insure you would not get it...

HowTo: Keeping Sena and Phone charged.

I have a Sena 20S Evo and I can use it while it is being charged. I have a cigarette lighter receptacle mounted on my dash. I use a male charger plug with 2 USB ports. I keep my phone charged while riding and can also charge my SENA with the other USB port. I only charge the SENA while...

I also have these on my F3. Very bright when brake or turn signal is applied.

Any comments on my Navigation Preference?

The problem I see with using a cell phone for navigation is that it uses data. Depending on your data plan your minutes might run over by using the phone navigation on a long trip. Also, if you come to an area that requires a detour, such as downed power lines, wreck, etc, your phone might not...

    Survey on TIRES

I got mine the other day. It would be nice if BRP finally would admit that auto tires are better than the Kendas.

It Burps!! Lamonster's IPS Fuel Cap Assembly

I have also had the IPS cap for two years and it doesn’t burp. Could be a fuel canister issue.

    Fuel stabilizer comparison test

I ride year round since I live in the SE. But I always use 100% gas locally. If I am on a long distance trip I only use 10% ethanol if I have no other choice. Since I ride infrequently from about November to May I never use fuel stabilizer. Never had a problem starting my Spyder or water in...

Anyone got a good source for a 2012 RS license plate lens housing?

Custom Dynamics used to sell a replacement lens for $20. But they don’t carry the part anymore. After I lost two lenses I put a screw in each side of the lens to hold it to the mount. I haven’t had a problem since.

    Increasing Visibility?

My fog lights are on any time I ride my Spyder. The more light, the easier to be seen IMO.

    Favorite ride close to home

I live in the southwestern tip of NC. Within 45 minutes of me is the famous Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, and “moonshine” Hwy 28. We are known for fantastic motorcycle roads in western NC, north GA, and eastern TN.

F3 sprocket question - which lube/paste is best when re-fitting?

The sprocket that Dan had replaced at 4482 miles was the factory original on his 2019 F3-S. I had to have my third replacement sprocket at less than 5000 miles. My original sprocket lasted 17,000 miles. I do not understand why BRP cannot come up with a PERMANENT fix for this. And this...

    Dealer/mechanics in east tenn

I had them replace a rusted front pulley two years ago and thought that all was well. Got home and took the cover off and discovered they had put the pulley on backwards! Went to another dealer in SC to get it corrected. Am hesitant to use them again. I even sent a letter to East TN ATV...

F3 sprocket question - which lube/paste is best when re-fitting?

Yes, but my previous sprocket was applied with Kluberpaste and it lasted less than 5000 miles. The dealer that replaced it yesterday used Loctite 660. So it seems that different dealers are using different products to stop the fretting. I can’t see how using Loctite would void my warranty if...

F3 sprocket question - which lube/paste is best when re-fitting?

I just had my front sprocket replaced today for the 3rd time on my 2015. The second sprocket only lasted for about 5000 miles. The dealer that replaced my 2nd sprocket used Kluberpaste 46 MR 401. The different dealer that I used today used Loctite 660. I researched both products on the...

Shad bags - is there a cleaner to make them shine?

I had installed Shad bags on my F3-S almost 5 years ago. I love them but can't seem to find a product that will make the plastic shine. I have tried numerous products but the surface still stays dull. It is even hard to remove scuff marks. Has anyone found a cleaner or a wax that will make...
