• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

f3s down and out at 12,500 miles (for second time)

it is different on the rt. Not sure if it's due to different sprocket size on the two, different belt length or why.

f3s down and out at 12,500 miles (for second time)

I didn't see the word epidemic anywhere! put yourself in the same perspective, and all of a sudden things would change. all I posted was what my problem was, to see if others had the same, and what was the resolve. if you don't like it, go somewhere else!!nojoke

f3s down and out at 12,500 miles (for second time)

Ron, I couldn't agree more. I also have another tidbit of information which I am concerned about, and that has been the long addressed issue of two up riding on the 2015 as being only occasional. mine is about 90% of the time, and I am wondering if the extra weight is pulling harder on the belt...

f3s down and out at 12,500 miles (for second time)

for the second time, I now have had to depart vacations early due to the f3 being out of service. at about 5,000 plus miles, I had a front sprocket (pulley) split and eat up a belt. this time the spline on the drive shaft blew out and damaged drive shaft and sprocket. what next? now wondering if...

Any guesses what this grinding noise might be?

Yes, it is! The first time it split in two and ate my belt up. The drive sprocket (pulley if you will) is two pieces pressed together. It happened when the wife and I were in Wisconsin last summer on our cross country trip. Luckily I had the trailer and rv and was able to get it home to nj.

Any guesses what this grinding noise might be?

In Maine currently enjoying the good weather and f3 disappoints me again. Had dinner in Brunswick last night and jumped back on to 295 south. While shifting from second to third gear (manual shift), released clutch and heard grinding sound. Coasted off to side of road, shut it down and tried...
