• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this Fender Alignment worth worrying? Any fix ideas?

I would prefer not taking the fender off to straighten it. OK to pull/push on the metal frame sections with the fender attached? Recommendations??

Is this Fender Alignment worth worrying? Any fix ideas?

Caught a fiche, exploded diagram I'm guessing the out of alignment parts are #336 and 337 at the bottom of the illustration. The rest of the fender seems to be bolts, nuts, wire and plastic.

Is this Fender Alignment worth worrying? Any fix ideas?

Mike - Thanks for agreeing that it's out of line. Usually I am the one out of line. It's refreshing to see something doing that. Is this simply a matter of pulling the fender over to cover the tire/tyre, that is, bend it back to its original location?

Is this Fender Alignment worth worrying? Any fix ideas?

Greetings I'm the third owner of my Spyder. I've noticed that the fenders don't cover the tires equally, i.e. one fender covers the entire tire; the other leaves .5-.6 inches of tire uncovered. A ruler held vertically next to one tire matches the fender edge perfectly. The other side shows the...

Recommend any Independent dealers in Central Oregon?

Recommend any Independent repair shops in Central Oregon? Greetings I live in Redmond and I know there's at least two other Spyder riders here. (Wife saw two Spyders parked in a garage as she drove past.) Wondering if anyone can recommend an independent mechanic who likes working on Spyders...

Why you should flush your brake fluid properly

Hmm. Reading this I suspect that my 2015 has never had its brake fluid replaced. I just replaced the original 2014 front tires. I'm the third owner. The nearest dealer in Central Oregon is in Bend. They seem to know their stuff. I guess. Haven't had them do much, but did notice they charge a...

Anyone know the trick for installing under tail cover - ST?

Have an appointment with the dealer to attach the doggone piece. Next week. I've been riding, but not in the rain since the gap between plastic piece and body is not small and there are electronics in there. Waterproofed, of course, but I don't like water on wiring connections. After the tail...

Its hard to get off 2 two wheels and onto three.

Brian I get it. In some ways your story matches mine. I got off two wheels two years ago. Medical reasons. I still miss riding. I probably always will. But. There's always a "but." My wife goes with me on the Spyder and that's a good thing. Two wheels? No wife. I've worked hard to learn the...

So what's the difference, apart from the name? (Coilover springs)

Gentlemen Here's what I got back from RTPro springs: I'm going riding. When I get home, I'm sending them some money. Steve

So what's the difference, apart from the name? (Coilover springs)

Chuck I very much appreciate you taking the time to look at the RTPro website. Your conclusion matches mine: good enough for off-road? Good enough for on-road. I wrote them asking what RP and SRT meant in their spring descriptions and learned RP means wrapped; STR means straight wound. Who...

So what's the difference, apart from the name? (Coilover springs)

Thanks, guys. I don't believe everything I read on a web page, but there's no way to check and at some point I have to trust the seller. From the RK Pro web site: "Springs are CNC wound from high tensile, low silicon steel" "All springs are powder-coated and made in the USA." The other place...

After Fabrication details for a Prop rod for the seat. 2022 RT-L

I removed the stock pneumatic holder awhile back. Visualize a 2-inch by 7-inch by 3/16-inch piece of aluminum (salvaged from some project.) Lies flat under the seat. Not attached anywhere. Pull seat up (the latch is wired shut/out of order) put bar in place. When I ride solo while traveling I...

So what's the difference, apart from the name? (Coilover springs)

Greetings I've been sniffing around the interwebs wanting to change the springs on my front shocks. I've discovered there are two tiers of springs available. The name brands and the no-name brands. Hyperco and Eibach are examples of the first tier. Well known. Good quality. Premium price...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Would like to see a photo of the LED turn signal indicators you installed. Pretty please? Also type and where purchased? My ST's indicator lights are barely visible if there's any sun out. Overcast sky isn't much better. Thought about doing what you've done here. Like to see it. Multiple thanks.

When and where was the first time you rode a Can-Am tryke ??

Two mile ride from the owner's garage along a back road and return. Next day rode 290 miles from south Seattle back to Oregon. Two Cascade Mountain passes. Freeways and highways and secondary roads. Kept muttering under my breath about the handling. Surprise: It's NOT a motorcycle/two-wheeled...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Wired and installed AdMore Lighting's LED kit for the Givi V35 side cases. Not difficult, but a little nerve wracking removing the plastic lenses. No breakage. Ha! Fitting the lenses was more of a challenge. One went in perfectly and easily. The other required many attempts before finally...

Anyone know the trick for installing under tail cover - ST?

Greetings Well, I got three out of seven bolts and/or nuts fastened. The plastic tail piece does not align with the holes holding the threaded clips. It certainly came off without any hassle. Getting it back on, starting from the tail light and working inward: no joy. Starting inward and...
