• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Purchasing Soon - what is the process like? Any experiences/advice appreciated

A bit of info.... BRP is NOT like car dealers. 2025 models won't hit showroom or picked up until about March next year. So that will impact your thought process

this V Bulletin software has the ability to let 1 signature line per thread, then all remaining posts will NOT have that extended feature showing. NT-Owerners.org has this software and uses this feature. moderators or admin can look into this, to make threads shorter

Rear wheel removal - can't get the brake caliper off or remove axle - help??

As for the axle, you might try a little upward relief of the wheel weight pressing down the axle - that could be making the axle harder to push out.

Rear wheel removal - can't get the brake caliper off or remove axle - help??

The rear caliper is a screw in/out type of piston, so you won't get much movement by applying pressure. There has to be fluid pressure to twist it out. Have the brakes worn past the liner and into the backing? That would make a higher ridge that the pads or very worn pads have to go past to get...

Anyone tried "Speed Bleeders" brake bleeders?

I looked at the Speed Bleeder website to refresh my memory. Since 2013 all spyders are Brembo Brakes with same part#, so SB6100 is correct. Also, the master cylinder hasn't changed, so that part# is SB1010S. You need BUDS for this, to flush with computer. It's good to get old fluid out of there too!

Apple Car Play download initially failed! NOW Finally available....

It's really sad that 2024 version with ACP and the old version with BRP GO had similar problems with connecting and staying connected, and with intergrading correctly. The TECH field of BRP is just a problem.

Mystery Tools/parts found in new to me 2020 RTL - any ideas?

Get rid of 3/16 Allen wrenches. You should be carrying MM only. I don't know of any aftermarket items that would need 3/16" as that equivalent comes to 4.76mm!

How big is Too Big for a Ryker? What's a good price?

you might NOT like the travel time from your house across I40 to the mountains. That higher RPM cause of the snowmoblie type of belt will get you plentyof buzzyness. Set your GPS to curvy roads and NON interstate might be better scenic views

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

A 36 mm socket can double duty for the rear axle. Watch what quality you get for 167 FT LBS of torque on that sucker - you have listed a 3/8 drive. I would get 1/2 drive 6-sided hex for tough duty. Then you could start asking us about rear tire changes!!!

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

biggee... for NOT stripping out your drain plugs. They are NOT perpendicular to floor. Push the T45 or 6mm hex fully into recess of fitting on plug. You will see that they follow the case angle, not WHAT YOU THINK should be perpendicular to floor.

Installing Trailer hitch - avoiding obstruction in axle housing?

I don't have a hitch, but I am a machinist. I wouldn't have the axle BOLT reduced to a smaller size. That could mean a less holding or torquing problem. What has been proven, is that the axle hole has been made bigger by BRP without cause for failure. So in this case, the axle might be case...

Where is the Height sensor arm located?

You didn't mention what model your talking about. Have to lay down on floor and look at swingarm. The linkage bolts up to swing arm. That is first place to look at, report back and we go from there for next problem to fix
