• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, how fast can a spyder go and safely make a sharp right turn at an intersection?

300 miles is still not enough time riding to understand the Spyder. Ride more, then you can access your ability to corner better. A Spyder is like riding a 4wheeler, they lean the opposite of turn, like your going to fall off. If you happened to notice your dash, if you were really pushing...

Is there a Code Reader for the Spyder?

Code readers don't work on Spyders, just BUDS. Some codes don't even follow the typical cars and trucks codes!

Need to know Jacking points using a floor jack?

Not sure if this question was discussed earlier in this thread, but I don't have time to look. So just place a piece of wood under the tubes on an A arm and jack up. It will have to be a skinny jack. Not sure if there will be enough room to place a jack stand with the jack still in place. Just...

Replaced Rear tire, now have multiple fault codes! Need some advice.

Running the rear wheel in the air will get you the VSS faults; not sure why ABS would be on; and I don't know what EBD is. So you just need to get out and go for a ride, so that all 3 wheels are spinning

Share your experiences with Performance shocks for 2023 RT's?

you have only 3 posts, so you are new here. You mention chassis roll, have you tried a new sway bar? Ultra bar from BajaRon, controls roll better, and the shocks control dampening. Still may need shocks for your specific feel that you want. Just for record, I have done neither to my 2015 RTL

Is it possible to do an Oil Change without a lift?

Some items to think about. Crush washers can be reused. Don't use a torque wrench on the plug, just tighten it firmly. Torquing it down can lead to problems, as you will have oil on the threads which leads to higher torque levels. I'll differ on my opinion about getting all the oil out of...

Is it possible to do an Oil Change without a lift?

I have been enlightened on this forum about low usage and sitting long times without oil changes such as yours. That is more of a problem than being used and driven. You're way up north, susceptible to very cold temps and condensation. Acids can't get burnt off by riding more frequently. Why...

Is it possible to do an Oil Change without a lift?

With the Spyder sitting for mostly 3 yrs and only 1,000 miles. There will be condensation moisture in there. With being a new Spyder owner, there is NO oil pan as such. Its a Dry Sump operation. Which is an internal oil tank, with scavenge pumps that pump the oil around. The manual states change...

Is there any way of locking the Glove box on a 2010-19 RT??

Simply Stop; turn the wheels full lock left or right; turn the key fully counter-clockwise; pull the key out; and then if your glove box was pushed down to that click lock, it will be locked, as will the frunk!

Is it possible to do an Oil Change without a lift?

I would NEVER suck out the oil where the engine was designed with a plug to let it drain out the bottom. Sucking out the oil just will NOT get all the containments that DRAINING will get out of the engine. Yes, some of these oil change places do this, but I don't take my vehicles to them. I...

What Hobbies do you have other than the Spyder?

My username says it all. Anything dealing with wood, Woodworking, remodeling, anything house related, handyman, furniture making. Most of my career path, not able to get a job close to me, right now my round trip commute is 96 miles. Here is NC I can ride mostly year around, so motorcycling is a...

PedalBox and Pedal Commander - what do they do and how do they work?

That is the classic BRP misprint in manual. I don't have an F3 or a 2020+ model, but from what I have read, only the F3S models have that toggle option way back around 2016- 2018?? Please, can another member help me out? I don't want Dasmo searching and searching trying to find that special...

Cannot get the rear pulley to seat properly - any ideas?

unless they changed rear axle torque for newer models, as stated above its 166 ft lbs. Not a game changer to add another 11 lbs, but 166 is enough!!

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

Cool! An Adventure type of 3-wheeler with the 1330cc engine size! Truly extremely customizable package for storage. For those that luv the biggest Ryker 900 Rally, they will have to get the Canyon. Gung Ho toward ALASKA, to Infinity and Beyond, with 10" ground clearance... but with a belt final...

Cannot get the rear pulley to seat properly - any ideas?

It has been said on here before about marking them and installing them in same place. If that needed to be done, then they would have different part #'s. One of these just might have a different amount of compression or non- compression that might make it harder to get started pushing the...

Amsoil 10w-40 metric oil - what do you think?

recommended oil change is 9,300 on a 1330cc engine, so 10,000 not far over. Amsoil is a better grade and can go the 10,000 miles if you want. there has been discussion about Amsoil being better grade and going the distance

Any helpful tips for installing a Lamonster Belt damper on a 2022 RT?

I do NOT have a belt dampener. I don't need a PERFECT machine. I don't need a ruined belt. I will get some vibrations in limited amounts of time from the belt. I find that a pothole, ridge in pavement, or depression in pavement will trigger it to come on or off. Sometimes belt vibrations can be...

When did BRP start using Kanines?

Kanines are not OEM with the NEW Spyder. They are slightly better than OEM Kenda supplied. Still NOT better than auto tires. The front tires can be changed at many tire shops and balanced cause of the bigger hole in rim. Rear tire is more of a problem. Some dealerships will ONLY install a Kenda...

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

2015 RTL bought used in Mar 2017 with 224 miles. I now have 50,000 miles. Just normal maintenance. I have NOT had any codes at any time. Yes, I've seen the orange screen for saddle bag open, brake fluid low, or VSS whenever I trigger it on Tail of Dragon. :ohyea: :ohyea:  It's been a...
