• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New software Update for Spyders Nov 30 '24 - anyone updated their '24 RT? What does it do?

Don't forget you have to "enable" the camera in the configuration. Easy way to tell if you have enabled it (without installing a camera) is the blue screen on the right half of the screen when you are in reverse.

Who has the factory adjustment data for a 2025 Spyder RT belt adjustment in mm?

This is from the 2024 manual.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I stand corrected on FOBO, I misinterpreted their statement about usage shortening battery life, i.e. running the app all the time. After reading the manual again I see I was wrong. But I did get almost a year of battery life before they started to show the low battery alert. So I can live...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

True but he said he got the FOBO from Amazon not the cheap ones.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Not true, they only "answer" when polled by your phone; if your phone is in range, and you are running the app it will keep talking to your phone.

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

Nice Bus bars, you are way neater than I am!

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

Here, it is better to just show you. I need to learn to document these thing when I build them, at least this one is very easy to get to. I already had a 30 amp fused circuit running up through here, so it was easy to build a relay driven by switched power into the line. It even has room for...

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

I made a switched power bus with a 30 amp relay and #12 wire with four Anderson 30 amp power pole connectors (everything I have uses the same connector). I mounted it behind the easiest pull out panel to remove, only requires you to lift the seat.

Does anyone have a Wiring Schematic for a 2023 RTL?

Looks to be a white 20 gauge that feeds the brake part of the tail/brake light assy in the top case. I got the manual from BRPMANUALS.COM

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went out today to check to see if my 2024 RTL had survived the DST/STD time shift. It was off by an hour but I noticed the time zone was 5 instead of 6 and the date was correct, and of course, this was after it had connected to Wi-Fi. Then it was time to air up my tires due to the colder...

Does anyone have a Wiring Schematic for a 2023 RTL?

I do not know how the 2023 manual is but the 24 manual is great and has a separate section for the wiring diagrams. It also lists the wire colors and circuits as well as the pin number (which are NOT marked on the actual connectors). Here is a sample of the detail:

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I think he meant "move the drivers side away from the wall" as it would be in all left turns and all right turns would put the drivers side on the wall.

External Speakers no longer working on 2025 RT-L - How do I open the fusebox? Is there a special trick?

That is good news, but did the dealer teach you how to open the fuse boxes? You still may need to get in there someday.

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

Just be aware that you must have a TPMS if you are running run flat tires. You need to know when you are actually running them while flat and you are limited to the number of miles that it is safe to do that. They are not mount 'em and forget 'em. But you will likely not find one in our size...

Can anyone identify this? Found on top of Piston #1 on a 2015 RT 1330

FWIW this is from a 110,000 mile K1200LT engine borescope. And it cleaned up nicely to this. -

Looking for a good GPS - Touring, no off road. Considering Garmin Zumo XT - thoughts?

I went with the ZUMO XT2 as it uses the new "Tread" app for for routing and it syncs with your phone to bring in new routes. Garmin has abandoned the old Base Camp software and even though I was very proficient at routing with it, I have found the Tread app to be very intuitive and easy to use...

External Speakers no longer working on 2025 RT-L - How do I open the fusebox? Is there a special trick?

The audio output is selectable from speakers to headsets, no mute. I have that setting added to the Mode switch as well as the display for fuel MPG/Range and Temp/Voltage, so I can select them on the fly. Stock set up means you have to be stopped to change them by touching the display but if...
