• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

Ok, took it out for a 10-mile loop, it seemed to run fine, got back to the house, looked for codes and got a U0155, but it's still got the check engine light on! I got the keys out of it and I'm going to let it rest for an hour and see if that will help?! Anyone got anything else to try?

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

Ok, like I said above, friend had a dead battery that threw a check engine light, then changed out the battery with a brand new fully charged battery, and was hoping the light would go out, but it didn't! The bike sat all night with no battery because I had the new battery on the bench charging...

Too hot to ride, or maybe I’m just getting old

It's just not fun for me or the bride if it's steaming hot out!! When the humidity is high it's the car and AC for us! ;) It's one thing if you're on a trip and run into it and HAVE to run it, but to want to ride in it, no thank you!!

Having a blast, but have you noticed these Spyders Take an Effort To Ride?!

They are an improvement for sure, but they are still going to wear out in the center like the old style in the rear! When mine are gone it's back to the car tire for me!

Having a blast, but have you noticed these Spyders Take an Effort To Ride?!

I was very surprised that my bride wasn't giving me the squeeze, she was enjoying the ride as much as I was! When we got to the end of the Dragon, she asked if I was not with you would you have gone any faster, I said most likely in a few spots! ;)

Having a blast, but have you noticed these Spyders Take an Effort To Ride?!

When you get in the twisties it's almost an art of brake and gas, leaning and pushing, it's fun as heck when you get it right and you find yourself clipping along the road! After I spent two weeks in the hills of Tenn, it was a letdown running the roads in Maine!

Say Goodbye to the Night Sky?

Well, not only will the guys and gals going to space have to be astronauts, but they will have to be race car drivers also to drive around all the junk up there!!

What is the 'ideal' Ride Height? Should the front shocks be biased toward more clearance or less?

I would lean towards the higher end of that scale! The bike's too low to the ground anyway, it needs all the help it can get!!

Anybody using an aluminum frame enclosed trailer to tow their Spyder?

Snowbelt's trailer is the cat's hind end in my book for sure, totally set up to roll, low to the ground, and has brakes - that is a must in my eye's!! I bought a 7x14 single axle enclosed trailer with the higher head room which didn't have brakes, but I fixed that with a nice brake kit, and am I...

New Spyder Sea to Sky and Trailering - will I be able to tie my Spyder down properly?

Congrats on the new ride!!! When hauling with a trailer you have to remember that the load is always going to move forward more than back for the most part. I like using some type of chock system for the front when I can, in the past when I used a friend's trailer, it had a wooden deck that I...

Is my Battery failing? Or not?

Nice post, you saved me all that typing!!! 😊 I am not a fan of the keeping it on the tender, for the same reasons as you!!! If your battery's good it will roll over and start if it's been sitting for weeks, it's when you roll it over and it turns slower than normal that's when you keep your...

A quick review of Elka Stage II shocks on my RTL

This thread was started last Oct, maybe he will get back to you!?! And if I was him, I would put one on the rear in heartbeat, did that to my 2012, and loved it a lot better than the shock junk!!

My 2025 RTL Display has blacked out a couple of times - any thoughts?

My 25 has an off brand in it, and I will say it rolls over a little slow if it sits for a while, I have load tested it, but I am keeping a close eye on it! I am expecting that I will need a new one in a year, if the old one behaves itself, I do not and will not put it on a maintainer just to...

Any ideas on what might be causing this (((Vibration))) on my 15 F3S?

That vibration dampener needs to be lifted off the belt and spin it with your fingers to check the bearings, if there were any roughness in the bearings I would take it off all together or replace it with a better aftermarket one! One that is not a plastic piece of crap, they usually have better...

Did the BajaRon sway bar upgrade to my 2012 RT (on the cheap)...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with used parts, and a sway bar is one of those things that is going to wear out that fast!!! I bet you say a great difference in the handling!
