• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know how to add a strobe/flasher to RT Brake Lights?

That means they are working. When Grondyke received DOT permission to add flashing brake lights to the back of their trailers the percentage of people running into the rear of their equipment went down like 80%.

No longer any Sponsors Advertising on SpyderLovers!

Dave, I hope that you and the other sponsors have realized as much or more of a benefit for your dollars spent as the users have benefitted from this forum being here. It's a wonderful place and I hope it continues on for a long time.

How about this for a positive repair experience?!

We always hear about "the bad" service situations. How about one with some outstanding service, from a powersports dealer who does not have any interest in Can-AM products, in a very small town, just because they felt it was the right thing to do? How about a town full of the nicest, most caring...

One thing about it, when you are here you are basically in the middle of nowhere. I use this shot as my background on Teams calls.

They are in a PDF format so will work with just about any device. Limited by screen size or eyesight, whichever is worse.

Will my 2024 F3T need a belt vibration damper?

It's not that hard to reach under the left side, raise the arm and spin the roller while feeling for bearing problems. You don't even have to look at what you are doing, just feel. I wish that lowering or raising the belt tension would have removed the vibration, or lowered it to a tolerable...

Downshifting techniques, I need your advice on best technique?

Up or down shifting it works best with a constant throttle position. That can be all the way off the throttle if downshifting. Maintain the same throttle position when either up or down shifting. Or wide open if upshifting or downshifting for some quick additional power. What it does not...

Most amount of miles/KM you have ridden in one day on the Spyder

Picked up my Time Out trailer from the factory in Elkhart, IN and took the scenic route back down to Clinton, MS. 16 hours to get home and slightly over 900 miles. Had not exactly planned it that way, if I had I would have gotten receipts and turned it into an iron butt by adding a few more...

Lets just say that I have had it done to me. :cus:

Do I need BUDS to depressurize the fuel filter to change it?

Oh yes. The one thing you don't want to accidently do is turn the key on while you have the lines off the filter. Doing that will allow you to see just how well your electronic fuel pump works.

What do you do to stop if Spyder Brake Master cylinder quits?

The same thing you would do in a car. The master cylinder is divided into 2 parts. The front half applies the rear brake and the rear half applies the front. Unlikely both sides go out at one time. If they do most folks just $^&T themselves and hope for the best.

Do I need BUDS to depressurize the fuel filter to change it?

Unless everything has been static for a very long time the fuel filter is likely to have pressure on it. I will wrap a rag around the hose end before I pull it off to contain the spray. Not a big deal unless it catches you off guard. If you have BUDS you can bleed the pressure off before...

What is the actual break-in mileage? First oil-change due when?

Need Help with Fobo tire monitor install - app not responding...

Did you get them new or used? If new was it a new unopened package they came out of or a return? The reason I ask is if they have ever been setup by someone they have to be released by that someone using the app. Otherwise they are just a pretty valve cap for the next person that tries to...
