• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone with a '21+ Spyder got a Baja Ron anti sway bar? Worth it?

I have the original and can tell you it's made a huge difference. Because of my riding style, I didn't need the upgraded version, but hear if you're a more aggressive rider, that one might be the one to get.

I swear by the Utopia backrest I have.

Underbody lighting - looks cool, but the fuse blows when we add a switch :(

Just throwing this out there but since everything works without the switch, I'm thinking that the illumination from the switch, coupled with the running lights, is drawing more than 5 amps. If you wire just the switch and turn it on, does it blow the fuse?

    Belt cover/guard: needed or not?

I bought one 2 years ago and it's still sitting in the box. Been contemplating putting it on because of how tight the gap is between the belt and the tire. I'll have to look at it again. I don't drive on too many gravel roads but I have driven on them and if the guard works, I'd rather spend...

Installed new LED headlights, now Fog lights not working - ideas?

I'm not sure if this applies but I'll throw it out there anyhow. My truck had halogen lights and I put LED's in. That messed up my fog lamps both for halogen and LED. I had to buy a resistor that connected to the passenger headlight in order for the fog lights to come on. Here's a link in...

How to carry a cane on Spyder RT

Skeetin Skabbin Skeedom-deebo. I thought along these lines as well. I initially was going to suggest using a quiver.

Are the Ultimate seats a good buy?

I almost bought an Ultimate seat but decided to go with a Corbin 1-piece for my '21 RT. I like it. For me, it's very comfortable.

Looking for Cat delete baffle recommendations - what do you use? Where from?

Thanks Peter. I may just get the RLS cat delete. I'll probably put some heat wrap tape on it as well. Currently though he's out of stock but that's ok because I can't ride for a couple more months anyhow. I saw it's not really that loud. A bit louder but nothing like the RLS crusher pipes I...

How to carry a cane on Spyder RT

I have that exact cane. I bought it a few years ago for when I had back surgery. It works great. I unfortunately will have to break it out again because I am having more back issues and I think surgery is in my near future... again.

Anyone else have this RT-L whine noise issue? Any advice?

I can't recall what color the sprocket is that the dealer put on to resolve the faulty sprocket that made the noise you're talking about, but it has resolved the issue for me. Plus, I had them add a belt tensioner as mine did not come equipped with one. Hope that helps.

Looking for Cat delete baffle recommendations - what do you use? Where from?

I really do wish there were more vids on what the cat delete sounds like on a '21 RT. All I can find are F3 vids.

Harbor Freight 63397 motorcycle lift - high enough for sway bar install?

I actually lifted all 3 wheels off the ground, then secured it with the jack stands.

Think of changing from a Freewheeler - is the Spyder any easier &/or safer?

I had my heart set on a Tri-Glide, and while watching videos one night, I stumbled upon the Ryker. I mentioned it to my wife and how it was automatic. She then became interested then, so we went to the dealership the following day and bought that and the '21 RT. I have to say, I'm glad I didn't...

Harbor Freight 63397 motorcycle lift - high enough for sway bar install?

I have the harbor freight lift. It is definitely wobbly but I use jack stands as well. I almost went with the ramps but watched a video where the ramp can still get in the way.

Looking at dog carriers. Anyone have any advice?

Found one from Nelson Rigg. Looks like a nice one. Has reinforcement so that bag doesn't collapse over time due to my pups climbing all over it. I saw a video where the Kuryakyn over time lost its structural integrity.
