• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Here's a couple of pictures of the add-ons I did this past weekend. I added the lights on the top case and modified a blank switch plate to add the dual USB port plug. I also added the Carpirude as well. With installing the USB device, I cut out the middle of the blank switch cover. The...

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

Here's the pic of the Carpirude. Pardon the dirty bike. I had to replace the battery yesterday and haven't had a chance to wash her yet.

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

I'm going to try and post them tonight after I get my lawn done.

Help me decide: 2019 RTL - RLS Cat Delete or RLS Crusher?

I've been contemplating getting the RLS cat delete, but from the videos I've seen, it can get loud when the rpm's are revved up. Kind of sounds like those little cars with those annoying mufflers. I'm being educated by videos. I haven't heard the setup in person so I'm speculating from that.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yesterday I replaced my 4-year-old OEM battery. Man are they expensive! Got battery tender leads coming and will be adding that to the bike when they arrive. No more guessing. I'll have a full charge every time I take her out. Hoping to get pics tonight of the things I did over the weekend...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I'd much prefer the 3's come in the form of money. Like find a penny today, then $10 tomorrow, and the 3rd is winning the lottery so I can retire. :firstplace:

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

Peter gave me a good explanation, but I also talked to the service tech at my local dealership. He indeed confirmed that the "bladder" they use is to accommodate all types of riders, but also admitted that they could have done a better job implementing the idea. He mentioned that their...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Well, I was going to take a couple of pictures of what I did over the weekend, but the battery died. I charged it on Sunday, but by then it was too late. I have a battery I have to pick up this afternoon. The battery is 4 years old so it's time for a new one. This time however, I order leads...

    Review: EazyRider BigBlue Spyder Jack

Almost $900? Ouch. But I guess if you use it a lot, it may be worth it. Myself? I use the Harbor Freight one. It's sufficient for my needs.

Battery Dead, seat not opening - does it need power to open?

The question has already been answered so I can't add more to it, but what I can add is that yesterday my battery died and I found out that you can't put the bike in park even though there's battery but not enough to start the bike. Weird.

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

I'm going to take pics of the mods I did over the weekend. I installed the 7" Carupride, and with the ball mount, it fits good, and it doesn't interfere with my speedometer cluster.

Riders Share - has anyone tried or rented their bike out ?

Renting to a stranger? No way. I'm having anxiety knowing the wife wants to test ride mine to see if she can handle shifting. Currently she has a Ryker Rally, which she loves, but hates that it's not easy to steer, even with a steering damper. She wants power steering. She would probably...

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

Thanks for the explanation, Peter. It makes a lot more sense now. Maybe the next course of action for me is to figure out a way to use the extension I bought and mount it to the outside of the bike, so I don't have to keep removing the seat. I'll have to give it some thought but I'm sure...

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

Just seems odd that this air bag that is not directly related to the shock, when empty, and I hit a bump, it feels like I just drove though a huge pothole, but when I add air, no more thud. I'll do some reading on it.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed the OEM antenna and installed the dual USB port and modified the blank switch cover for it to work. Came out really nice. Also installed the Capuride after installing the USB ports. All works good. I'll take pics of it and post in the next couple of days.

That diagram is for a 2021 RTL SE6. Mine's an RT Base SE6. That diagram shows a compressor. I don't have a compressor in mine. It's manual fill.

2022 Ryker Rally - Rattle in Drive Shaft/Under Seat at Low RPM/Speed - any ideas?

I've never heard my wife's '20 Rally make this noise. I'll check it out next time I pull it out of the garage. It may have made the noise and I just ignored it because of it being an automatic. I'll let you know.

What did you do to get a Twisted Sisters route on your Garmin XT?

Sorry, I have no idea, but I do know this, "We're not gonna take it, no, we ain't gonna take it, we're not gonna take it anymore..." :2thumbs:

Here's the part# info for '21 RT stock antenna & cap - for anyone looking...

A couple of years ago I got this "brilliant" idea to change the antenna on my '21 RT to something shorter. In trying to remove it, the rubber grommet (better known as the antenna cap), had to be cut with a utility knife. I thought nothing of it because this new antenna was supposed to be...

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

It is because I've filled it up numerous times. It's an air-filled shock, just not one that is auto-fill. That's on the RTL. On another note, one of my front tires was flat Thursday so I filled it up. The next day, it was flat again. I filled it up this morning and this afternoon it was...
