• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I haven't done anything but I did get word that the top case lights I ordered from SlingMods are on their way. Can't wait to get them on. The more lights, the better. Oh, and I'm still up in the air on painting my top case to match the color of the bike. But that'll wait until Spring if I...

Trying to decide which a/mkt seat for 2020 RT Ltd - any discussion?

Mine fits perfectly. You do sit more in the seat and you have more seat to sit on. And again, even though it's higher, I don't mind because it gives me more leg room. The windshield is the one thing I changed because of sitting higher, but I was going to change that out anyhow because at...

Looking at dog carriers. Anyone have any advice?

Thank you for your input. I've been looking at Kuryakyn. I've looked at many options but that one seems pretty sturdy, albeit a bit pricey. As it stands now, my wife rides her own bike. She's only ridden on my Spyder 1 time in the past 4 years. So the pups will be either both riding with...

Looking at dog carriers. Anyone have any advice?

I'm just looking for something to take the pups out on a 2 or 3 hour ride. I'm not looking for a long haul carrier.

Looking at dog carriers. Anyone have any advice?

I looked at trailers but they go for around $5,000.

Looking at dog carriers. Anyone have any advice?

The wife and I have two 1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and we want to bring them with. I've looked at the Kuryakyn and the Saddleman, as well as many others, but those two seem to be the top rated ones out there. Does anyone have a dog carrier that they would recommend? I was...

Trying to decide which a/mkt seat for 2020 RT Ltd - any discussion?

I have the Corbin 1 piece on my 2021 base model. I absolutely love it. It's not hard. It is taller than the stock seat however by an inch or 2, but because I have the HeliBars and a taller windshield, I don't mind. I like how now I don't have to prop up my seat to fill the tank.

After info on raising floorboards & fitting hwy foot pegs?

I bought the risers for the floorboards, then had to buy the brake riser as well. Plus, I added the larger brake pedal. I also have the footpegs. I think I got them from SlingMods. I like the setup. The only thing I don't like about the footpegs is that there's a pivot point and it's very...

Thanks to our site's Supporting Vendors.

Spoke to Ron on the phone one day concerning pricing for the sway bar since I already had the links. Very good customer service and he hooked me up.

Anyone installed this Motorcycle Car Play Unit or similar on 2020+ RT or F3?

Now this is something I may be interested in.

Harbor Freight 63397 motorcycle lift - high enough for sway bar install?

I have that exact lift. It is not high enough as it sits. I ended up adding a couple of boards and was able to then remove the sway bar.

Considering 2023 or 2024 RT Sea-to-Sky - some questions to help me decide/commit??

It indeed is. I replaced my stock seat for my '21 RT base with the comfort seat. It was ok but this past spring I replaced that with a Corbin 1 piece seat and love it. Side note: If anyone wants to buy the original seat or the comfort seat, I'll sell them at a decent price. Otherwise I may...

Looking for advice on which 2020 Spyder RT Base Rear Trunk to buy?

Or if you want to splurge, buy the add-on from the brp site. If you get it through your dealer, they may give you a discount. Mine did, but at that time, the top case was $1,500 and they gave me 10% off. Now it's over $2k.

    Electric Spyder next?

I'm hoping this push for everything electric goes by the way of the dodo bird. It's costly and does more damage to the earth than natural resources.

What Kind of Rider are you?

I ride during the weekday, but mostly take joy rides on the weekends. I typically don't ride my bike to work because I don't like the idea of it just sitting in the parking lot for 9 hours. I typically don't ride in the rain either. It's not fun for me. Living in the northeast, riding for me...

I Highly recommend the Pedal box

Unfortunately, I bought the pedal box and after a month, kept getting fault codes. I was not successful in getting a refund. Their support was only interested in telling me over and over how to reset it, which would work for a few runs, but then would act up again. I ended up buying the pedal...

Anyone installed the Afterburner tail-light mod?

I installed them and they're working out great. Next up are the lights that attach to the top case, which won't be shipped until some time in January. The more lights the better.
