• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

I am guessing upwards of $60,000 unless you already have the Goldwing. I wonder how it rides?

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

The Tilting Motorworks for Harley and Goldwing is gone. The Honda conversion from Mototrike is their design and Honda has and will have nothing to do with it. I believe they also made a 4 wheel conversion also, but I haven't checked their website lately to see if either one is still available...

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

Discovering your idols have feet of clay is always a shock. Great story perfect ending.

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

I really like the design. I don't like calling a 4 wheeler a trike, it's not. If you listen to the end it tells you the price $58,000 to $65,000. Way out of my price range.

    Utah Dealers reprise

I don't understand either, maybe they are getting out of the Spyder business altogether and just keeping the ATV, Watercraft ,and SxS business? And maybe it is just this store, they have several stores in Utah.

    Utah Dealers reprise

Karl Malone will no longer service Spyders as of Jan 1 2026. If they are your dealer get your machine in soon. Izzy is a great service writer and their techs are good too. I don't understand the "no service" as they still seem to want to sell them.

Trailer hitches - will a 2011 Swing arm hitch fit on a 2024 Limited?

In the end he decided not to pull a trailer. Thanks for your replies.

Anyone removed the clutch cover on the Right side of an RT SE5? What else had to come off? Anything fall out?

So in the end, Karl Malone of Provo said they would work on it for me. It is now ready to be picked up and I will get it today. In all this I have also found that my fuel lines are cracked and need replacing. As one is NLA from Can Am I will have to look at building one. Buying the rest OEM is...

@Hobie1, how are you coming with your 2012 mushy brake problem? What have you found?

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

I understand if you don't want to bundle up even a little well, there you are. I hope your Fall is long with lots of warm days and fair breezes.

Can anyone identify this? Found on top of Piston #1 on a 2015 RT 1330

LesC, it has been a month since we heard from you. How is you investigation of your problem going?

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

He said he had battery powered heated gloves already, so I figured he knew their benefits. The wiring is simple, I just went with plug ins.

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

If the cold is starting to bother you, may I suggest a heated liner. My wife gave me one for (Warm and Safe brand) Christmas a few years ago. It has the bluetooth heat controllers, so the wiring was minimal and it makes those late Fall rides and early Spring adventures so much more...

Has anyone else experienced this Transmission Fault? Had shaft recall done, now this - any ideas?

I was hoping for an update to ad to the general knowledge base., but he never came back

Kenda Kanine front tires - Where’s the beef?

There is no "Darkside" or "grayside" on the Spyder. They come from the factory with "car type" tires and rims - J type auto rims for car type auto tire beads. No danger, no darkside, no grayside, just car type J beads. And as has been pointed out many times, if you go to a better brand of tire...

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

I still love twisty roads, I just don't have to play Geoff Duke or Mike Hailwood any more. I can ride at a sane pace, and enjoy the scenery.😊

Anyone seen/heard from Motorcycle Dave lately?

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

Thank you, Ron for giving those of us who live too far away to interact with Lamont personally an insight into both him and yourself. Although I have had interactions commercially with you both, this is fun getting to know you all on a more personal level. Again, thank you for undertaking this...

Intro and my initial problems with the throttle sensor and DESS on my 2011 RT - fixed now tho!

The reality is that nobody wants an old Spyder, except maybe as a quick joy ride, most of them couldn't start it anyway, and they are not going to waste time trying to bypass the DESS. They will find an easier target. Thieves are by nature lazy, so they will look for the easy theft. Things like...

    2025 Motorcycle of the Year

Rider has always been ready to be contreversial, so this does not surprise me. I do agree with Blacklightning about picking any three wheeler for MOTY. They must feel their readership is getting older which I think they are. The entire motorcycle demographic is ageing. BTW I didn't know they...
