• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Only One Oil Plug on 2024 RT?

It's unfortunate that your dealership is a bunch of jackwagons, and you found out the hard way. If you are handy around a tool box, maybe you can gather up a few tools, a low profile oil drain pan, and do it yourself? It's really not bad at all. In fact, the 2nd time I did it, I couldn't believe...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Thank you. I spent a ton of research on helmets. Finally found this one, and it's pretty neat. The chin bar goes 180° back and locks in place. Plus the way it's designed it's also aerodynamic in the rear position. It's rated for safety in either the the closed or open positions. I wore it around...

I took the pair of Helmet Lidlocks off the F3S. I got a new helmet, and I like everything about it except it has the micro-ratchet chin strap instead of the Double D's, so the Lidlocks won't fit. I'll be putting them up for sale soon. New helmet is the LS2 Advant X Modular. I also went to...

F3s Travel cover needed - any recommendations on which is best?

Looks like the consensus is not favorable for the cover. Good! I just saved some money for now. I'm still going to need a good outdoor cover (water repellent) if possible. I'm sure BRP's covers are good, but probably cost more than others. I'm OK with that as long as it meets my needs.

F3s Travel cover needed - any recommendations on which is best?

I need a cover for the F3S for when I trailer the spyder on my utility trailer. Going cross country with it, and need the Best one. Thanks for any recommendations.

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

It's just routine. The alarm is loud inside the garage though.

What is your opinion on the plastic oil pump gears?

Look man, ROTAX makes Airplane engines. I trust the ACE 1330. Nylon gear and all.
