• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shell Rotella promotion - March 2024 - How do you apply for Rebate?

Time to change the oil in my diesel truck. 2.5 gals of Rotella T5. I just bought it the other day and I was happy to see the rebate info. That is till I read that the purchase has to be IN STORE. Oh well.

I fixed all of my clocks this morning and then I started my Spyder... :(

Doesn't the Spyder gets its clock info from the phone?

    Happy Anniversary email from BRP

At this point, for me, I'd be happy to hear anything from them. At least that would show me that they know who I am and that I bought one of their products. Don't worry, be happy.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Gave her a good washing! Pulled the F3 behind the motorhome in an enclosed trailer on our trip to New Mexico. Holy cow is New Mexico a dusty state!!!!! Lots of fun though and lots to see. We missed the flooding, lucky for us. Saw the bats, swallows, and Carlsbad Caverns. Just seeing...

Should there be a bolt thru these Empty holes?

You made me go out to the garage and lay on the floor! :gaah: lol My F3 does indeed have bolts at those locations. Care to name your dealer?

Have any of you added an Aux Tank to a 2020+ RT?

I understand the need for more range, thus an aux tank. What I don't get is this statement. "I like to fuel when I want to, not when I have to. Sort of like a gun fight, reload when you want to, not when you have too." Although I've never been in a gun fight, thank God, I'm pretty sure that...

Bummed out waiting for a part

I'm on the Duramax forum too. But reading here on the difficulty that some are having with obtaining parts and combining this with the reports that many dealerships are no longer doing work on 'older' Spyders, this is not good for long time ownership of this Can-Am product.

Bummed out waiting for a part

Reading this, and like threads, makes me VERY nervous about keeping my Spyder for the long haul. I normally do all my own work, and I keep vehicles pretty much till I drive the wheels off. I don't see this happening with Can-Am and I hope that I didn't make an expensive mistake by buying this...

Any chart/pics to show where Oil change O rings need to go?

I have the XPS kit and I'm about to use it in my first Spyder oil change. I have less than 1k miles on my new 2023 F3 but since the oil has been in there for at least two years, I'm changing it. I see that the O-rings and gaskets are all color coded. But where's the legend that tells which...

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Not 100% but I'm fairly certain that the all the empty cars that were in my immediate vicinity, were not all empty because the printer at the pump didn't spit out their receipts.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Perhaps you totally missed the point of my post/rant? It's not that I had such an issue with getting to the pumps with my motorhome/trailer. It's the total lack of any consideration for the other people who are not star struck by Buc-ee's and are just trying to get gas. Got it now? It won't...

Common courtesy and common sense, both have gone the way of the Dodo bird.

Nope, I did not miss such a sign because there wasn't one. I looked on the way in and on the way out, nothing of the sort.

Would you try Taking Spyder through a car wash?

No way!!! The high pressure is not good, and neither are the harsh chemicals used in car washes. Rinsing with water only is ok, in the manual bay. Care has to be taken with the pressure wand though.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

After hearing so much hoopla about Buc-ee's, we decided to stop there and fuel up on our way back from New Mexico. Plus, Gas Buddy informed me that they had the least expensive gas in the area, with a 57-gallon tank to fill, every little bit helps. So, I'm driving our motorhome, with the Spyder...

Rear axle nut cover fell off - doesn't 'snap' on! Anyone lost one?

I was trailering my F3 back from a vacation in New Mexico. As I was unloading it at home, I saw something strange on the floor of the trailer. I picked it up and scratched my head for a moment. Looking at the rear axle I found where it came from. The cover for the left rear axle nut had...

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

I'm sorry but you're wrong. "A circle has 360 degrees, regardless of its size. If you have to turn it 1/2 the way (for example) for full throttle, that's 180 degrees of twist, regardless of how big the circle is." To illustrate, take the size of the circle to the extreme. Imagine that the...
