• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need some clarification on using Bluetooth Speakers & Headset for Phone Calls on my 2024+ RT

FWIW I always run headset for music and calls are no issue. I have not tried running audio in the bike speakers and then getting a phone call. I would imagine it would revert to headset for the call and mute the speakers. Easy to test it though. I have the phone and headset paired to the bike...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I would not think you could warp a rotor in 3,000 miles, they must have been bad from the beginning.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed my TricLED Dynamic Driving Lights today. Always good to have more bright white light in the front. I don't plan to ride much at night but if I do find myself out after dark, these will follow the front wheels in a turn for better visibility. Oh and I also installed my temp custom...

Which part is responsible for turning the radiator fan on and off?

On the 2024 RTL there is an engine temp sensor that talks to the ECU and the ECU sends a signal to the fan relays. That is pretty standard on all vehicles now.

How I connected my 2024 RTL to a Bushtec Trailer with independent Tail, Brake and Turn signals

That harness attaches to the bike back at the rear lights area, a little harder to get at on the bike. It would be easier to use the original one plus it can be used to power other accessory lighting from the block, which is pretty handy to have. I think you would be better off with the...

How I connected my 2024 RTL to a Bushtec Trailer with independent Tail, Brake and Turn signals

I enjoyed making it but a far simpler solution can be had with the Show Chrome Accessory fuse block and isolator ($84.95 from Slingmods). It has available tie points for independent stop and turn signals and is more versatile than the “canned” trailer harness you posted on Amazon. One...

New owner - passenger heated seat only worked for a while; dash will only show fuel & battery - what am I doing wrong??

That display should show battery voltage then coolant temp with a toggle (up or down) of the OK button on the left controls. A long press (when you are NOT moving) will change it to fuel consumption/DTE with the toggle (up or down) of the OK button on the left had controls. Sounds like it is...

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

It took me a while to choose a name and it was "Weeble". Everyone remembers the toy, Weebles wobble but they don't fall down? Well after riding the Spyder for just about 1,000 miles it was discerning how the Spyder dips and wobbles with the slope of the road so it does wobble but unlike its...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got the Bushtec out of storage and hooked her up for a checkout of my harness and how she pulls with the Spyder. Ready for our trip to the Smokies next month.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed the SE Performance Front bumper and skid plate. Very easy plus it has a place to bring my SE Performance light bar forward.

Had to wear Gloves for Can Am riding course - Do you wear gloves? Why? Or why not?

You really only have to wear gear covering the parts of your body you want to keep! Asphalt is fairly abrasive and you never know when you might go sliding on it at speed.

Anyone tried using the 10.25" touchscreen to show TPMS from FOBO2?

You should also ask Can Am if the Spyder can run a phone app.

Has anyone installed a Garmin XT2 and Touratech Lock with Helibars? Any pics? Will it fit?

FWIW, I have the XT2, have had the 660, and the BMW NAV V (as well as many older units). The XT2 is much better in its display, but the routing interface is new, as well as using the Tred app from Garmin to create and transfer routes. I was a big Base Camp fan and had really mastered it, but the...

Can I use a 3amp Battery Tender to charge my Spyder?

Yes that is similar to the one I have used on my BMW M240 and my Spyder. Good product. I have a Jr version that I have kept on my BMW K1200 for 14 years.

Fog lights not working - checked fuses & relays, what do I check next?

If you always leave them on, then the switch should be fine; could be the bulbs or a ground issue at the lights.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Took my bride on a Spyder ride to get a bite to eat. It was our first RTE on the new bike. Although it was only 49 miles each way, it had back roads, four lane State Highway, and a twisty climb up the mountain to Sewanee TN. It was our first time at Shenanigan's and the food was great. - -

Installing the Backup Camera on an F3 - Instructions identify Camera Supports needed for F3 & RT

Here is a wider shot but the view is better on the video. You just have to undo the shroud on the left side saddle bag and pull it away to look in there.
