• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the best way to get a spare key? Any suggestions?

We did the same thing, but, the cost for the key included the programming after the locksmith cut it, so ours was the $80 plus the $5 for the locksmith. The dealer said the key cost INCLUDED the programming...

Just like @jzeiler, a ride to exercise and then some line dancing, a trip to Harbor Freight and checking the oil level when home. All is good!

Oil - Full Synthetic or Synthetic Blend??

First, it doesn't have to be JASO rated according to the owners manual, and what would say it's not recommended for wet clutch? My research shows it'll be fine...

87 Octane seems to work just fine

I was sceptical about using 87 octane until I saw in the manual that we can use anything from 87 to 91 octane, a good wide range.

Rear Trunk Box not Locking/securing the trunk, despite the dealer adjusting it to the fullest - Any ideas/guidance/suggestions?

After removing the back cover and exposing those pins, I believe you can have both pins loosened, then when the lid is closed, you can push each pin in towards the latch and then tighten the pins. What do you prefer to use for lifting your Spyder/Ryker?

Appreciate the info given! I've already survived this. I see it's called "cribbing", so I'll make a few pieces to use with my existing jack stands and use those next time to raise the trike up that high. Otherwise, I'll just use the jack stands as they are.

What do you prefer to use for lifting your Spyder/Ryker?

I pull the trike up on ramps and lift the rear wheel and put a concrete block under it. Then I lift the front end with a Pit Bull and use jack stands on concrete blocks. Quick and easy. - Edited to change cinder to concrete.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I got up before daylight this morning and moved stuff around and jacked up the trike for a new sway bar that finally came in yesterday. Today is supposed to be the hottest yet this year so I wanted to get an early start! It's installed and we put a few curvy road miles on it and am satisfied!

Just had an Internet learning experience!

I'd say that is the way most plans are set up. I've used ours a few different times when the home internet would go out and I looked into using the hotspot. Good to have a backup for sure!
