• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do OEM & A/mkt windshields for F3 use the same mounts?

Can you expand on this please since I've nothing on hand to examine and use as a starting point? Hopefully, a milling machine isn't required.

Do OEM & A/mkt windshields for F3 use the same mounts?

I'm in the same situation - looking at windshields for my '21 Standard F3. I like what I've seen on Gustafsson's website but their mounting hardware won't fit anything but their windscreens. I'm not a windshield fan but the cooler days are here in the Northeast so time for body protection...

    Erratic shifting problem

Thanks, I appreciate the info (sorry to hear of your wife's understandable fear). I was curious if you changed gearing or drive sprockets or something. Very new to Spyders (not bikes) and had not heard about modifying a Spyder for torque. Of course, my experience here is really limited. Best...

    Erratic shifting problem

I'm curious. How is your bike tuned for bottom end torque?

How do you dress for a ride?

Like a fool, I was about to post my opinion until I read the moderator view which got me to thinking... These arguments, er I mean discussions, have been around almost as long as I've been riding motorcycles and that's 50+ years. Of course things get more heated now that people can air their...

Can Am Accessory Customer Service Experience

Personal experiences will undoubtedly be all over the place from good to bad. So what the heck. I avoid BRP if possible - one bad experience, two very slow delivery experiences. SpyderPops gets a vote of no confidence and I won't use them again. Sling Mods and LaMonster is where I go to find...

Buying from the Mother Ship Can-Am BRP

Here's what I don't 'get' with that. Can-Am shouldn't have to 'search' for inventory. Aren't they the manufacturer who supplies their dealer network? Beyond that, they're selling that inventory on their website like a retailer. If you follow through with their search rhetoric, then they are...

Buying from the Mother Ship Can-Am BRP

In April, I got my Spyder and ordered a set of driver floorboards on the Can-Am website. After a week passed with no word of a shipment, I found a set online for less with overnight delivery (from a dealer). It took repeated contacts to cancel from Can-Am. So now, Can-Am is having a summer sale...

Tired of the sissy wave by other riders

I've been riding for over fifty years and lived in several states (PA, NJ, OH, SC, TX, MD and MI) but I've never seen that wave on two or three wheels. Fruity-tooty.

    Is anyone using Pedalbox?

Old post but here's my experience with PedalBox. I purchased it from their website. Delivery from Germany was very fast via DHL. It was at my door within days. After a couple days, I got to install it which was super easy. After following the instructions, I started the bike. The Check Engine...

    Shocks versus sway bar

LaMonster has more experience with Can-Ams than I have. As has been stated, it seems shocks address a different set of issues than an anti-sway /stabilizer /whatever/ bar. When turning, the Spyder is forced to the outside wheel. The sway bar counters that by forcing the Spyder towards the inside...

What size Airhawk cushion for 2016 F3L front and back. Do they work well?

Just took my first ride a couple days ago on a AirHawk R, size L for my '21 F3. Having used a cheap knock off on a Victory Vegas, I was totally skeptical. The cheapo knock off wasn't worth a dime. The real McCoy AirHawk was great! It was just what the F3 saddle needed. It got rid of the hot...

2021 RT LTD - What Octane Rating?

Newb to the forums here. I'd been pondering the fuel question since my '21 F3 arrived home. My experience has been two wheels for 50+ years, well before ethanol. As a kid, I remember thirty some cents for a gallon of regular...I digress. One of my last two-wheelers was a '07 Victory. The...

    Where do these belong?

The items were found on the garage floor. The red cap was found after installing an anti-sway bar. The two pins with rubber washers were found after removing the side panels. No pins are missing on the side panels and I've not seen any pins anywhere with rubber washers. None of the three found...

Review: PedalBox Vs Pedal Commander, which unit is better?

Hey Martin the Vlogger, No, no I didn't buy it from you. I bought direct from manufacturer in Deutschland. (Sorry if I put my post in the wrong place...maybe I did...just was looking for a PedalBox thread rather than start a new thread) The unit connects very simply, only one connector like...

Review: PedalBox Vs Pedal Commander, which unit is better?

I'm new to the forum so not sure if this is a good place for my post. So I purchased PedalBox for my '21 F3 base model because of the trouble code thing with Pedal Commander. It didn't sound like a big deal but I don't want to mess with the possibility of trouble codes on a new bike. The...
