• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tire gauge and pressure

I continue to read the importance of the correct pressure in tires. However, how do you get an accurate pressure reading? I have a half dozen traditional stick gauges (very inexpensive) and their readings are not very consistent as you would expect. I have a dial gauge, a digital gauge, and...

1330cc Spyder leaked all the oil out TWICE

Just throwing this out as “food for thought” and an event I experienced. I had an oil leak in a VSTAR a number of years ago and I traced it back to a broken graphite like gasket between the exhaust and engine head. I’m not sure how the Spyder is set up and if this is even possible in your...

Need advice/info on Installing battery tender harness?

I have a follow-up question to the installation of a battery tender for Winter storage. Is there a reason to place a surge suppressor in the line between the tender and the electrical grid? My question isn’t as much about the battery but the damage to the bikes electrical system. I’m not sure...

    Paring new phone

Just purchased a new phone, same brand, and everything was transferred from the old phone to the new phone even the BRP connect app. Do I have to pair the new phone even if the old one with BRP connect was paired? I’m guessing the answer is yes because you are pairing the phone and not the BRP...

    BEST Warranty

Does the cost of the extended warranty change depending on where you are in the manufacturer’s warranty? For example, purchasing the warranty the day you buy the bike vs a few years later before the original warranty ends. Poasttown 2019 F3L

Baja Ron sway bar install 2019 F3S

I had a similar question with my instructions. I contacted BaJaRon and within minutes he had the updated instructions emailed to me. On a side note the sway bar seemed to be a very nice improvement. My wife was always holding on to the rear hand rails because of the bikes rocking motion. On...

    F3 Limited Trunk

My 2019 F3 Limited trunk lid will not consistently shut correctly. The two fingers at the back of the lid often miss the two slots they are to go into as I shut the lid. Is there some sort of alignment I can make? I know that there is an aftermarket "fix" which involves a shim that is made to...

    Anti Sway Bar

I would appreciate an explanation concerning the sway bar brands. Bajaron sells a swaybar with all their components with their name on them and Lamonster sells the Bajaron swaybar but it has the Lamonster name on the components. Both kits appear to sell for the same price so I'm wondering if it...

    List your Top 5 accessories

Im riding a new 2019 FSL and must say the more I ride it the more I like it. Let me start by saying I'm pretty comfortable on the bike and am trying to focus on passenger comfort. Seat and leg comfort seems to be greatly improved with the move from 2 wheels to the F3L. I pretty much reduced...

    Smartphone network and battery lights

I paired/synced my iPhone to BRP connect a few days ago and am now seeing the smartphone network connection graph and the smartphone battery level indicator symbol on the dash. This seems reasonable. However, I just finished a short ride and did not connect my iPhone to the bike, I just left it...

Using old phone with BRP connect

Looking at the Genius Maps information I see two prices listed in the "steps to download" process. One price is 39.99 and the other is 44.99. Are there two fees, two price points, or just my misunderstanding? Poasttown
