• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installing passenger armrests on F3 Limited - do I lose heated handgrips?

Podhouse My passenger also lost the heated grips when I installed the BRP am rests on my 2019 F3L. This was ok with her because she didn’t use the heated grips and the arm rests provided a better ride for her. I’m not sure but you may be able to purchase some after market arm rests and still...

FM radio reception F3L and RT 2018 models.

Billy The FM reception on my 19 F3L seems to be ok. However, I have to turn it up so loud to hear it, with helmet, wind noise, etc. that I just use my Cardo intercom with ear buds. Poasttown

Which is the best Windshield for wind protection?

I purchased the tallest windshield from F4 Customs and am very happy with my choice. In fact, I later purchased their adjustable side wings to allow more air to flow on my body in the warmer weather. I sometimes wonder if I should have purchased the vent they offer as an option, however I have...

Touchup paint for 2017 Spyder RT Champagne Metallic

I have an update on my order from Scratches Happen. I received my order today and the kit I ordered (Phoenix Orange) included a half oz. of the paint, half oz. primer, half oz. clear coat, a pair of rubber gloves and a packet of various applicators, plus a sheet to practice and/or test the color...

Touchup paint for 2017 Spyder RT Champagne Metallic

    I could not find my color from Color Rite. I just ordered a touch up kit form a company called Scratch’s Happen. I don’t know anything about this company (I ordered today), but everything went smoothly. I’m extra cautious when ordering online and suppose I will know in a few days. Poasttown;

Helmet question from a new rider.

Someone else mentioned a Cycle Gear store. They seem to be opening a lot of stores. I have purchased a few things from them and have been happy. The stores I have visited had an entire wall of helmets so you can get a pretty good look. I also think they are some how associated with Revzilla...

    Update on belt vibration

Thanks all for your reply’s. I suppose I’ve eliminated the vibration, with the belt dampener, but I didn’t find the cause of the vibration. As I progress through the regular maintenance of the bike (new tires, etc) I can disable the dampener to see if the changes made a difference in the...

    Update on belt vibration

Thought I would give an update on my 2019 F3L belt vibration. Quick history; at highway speeds (70 to 80 mph) I would get considerable vibration and at about 75 mph it was so bad that I had to back off the throttle which was a serious concern when in the passing lane. I don’t do highways or...

    Driver to passenger communication

Ex-Rocket I currently use a Cardo system and am happy with the unit. My main interest is to communicate with my passenger which it does well. I use the FM radio built into the Cardo unit more often than the Spyder radio. With my three quarter helmet I find it difficult to hear communication...

2020 RT Limited swirls in the paint

Most of my glossy black trim has the swirl marks on them and I am also searching for a product which might help in removing them. I did come across a segment in the vlog “cruisemans garage” where he demonstrated how to remove light scratches from a Goldwings saddlebags. His demonstration would...

    What model do you recommend

I agree with bikerchris. I enrolled in a one day CanAm course and found it to be very beneficial. Even though all the riding was on a closed parking lot course it provided a lot of learning and fun. The course also provided the time to get the feel of the CanAms envelope in a safe and...

What Black Plastic Polish do you recommend?

I did a quick search and didn’t see anything specific on this topic. The black gloss plastic trim, 2019 F3L, on the dash and around speakers is extremely susceptible to lite scratches. I have looked at various compounds/products and almost all indicate that it shouldn’t be used on plastic...

Bruiser37 I contacted them today at the number Jaybros listed and was able to speak to a real person. I did call early around 9:15 Eastern time. Tyre Question - Different Topic... advantages using different tires front vs rear?

I’m beginning to wonder if anyone is happy with the stock Kenda tires. My experience with other bikes, not the spyder yet, has been associated with the tread life of the stock tires. I just got tired of having to change the tires every year. (4000 to 5000 miles per year) It seemed that I was...
