• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My 2020 RT has Fobo Bike, but I bought Fobo Bike2

Fobo IIs are not compatible with the old app. The new app (Fobo 2) is not yet compatible with BRP Connect. I've read that they are working on making it compatible, but who knows how long that will take. BRP was a great concept but extremely poorly executed. If you have version II of the...

    Zumo XT Installation

There is a European company that makes at XT lock. https://www.zumolock.com/index.php/en/purchase/zumolock/zumolock-xt-detail . It allowed me to put in a US shipping address. I have a KradleLock for my 660, but this looks like a viable XT approach

    Best Helmet Speaker for Sena?

I've tried several speakers for my old Senas, and just about everything is an improvement. I have a Packtalk Bold and upgraded to the JBL speakers and they sound better than anything I've had. I am not sure if it is the Packtalk, the JBLs, or a combo, but sounds pretty good for a helmet. No...

Anybody have Cardo Packbold? Need more volume?

My PacktAlk Bold has great volume, and way better sound than any unit (3 Sena, a really Cardo) Ive ever used. I would try 1) check firmare versions, 2) delete pairings and repair. and/or 3) Describe how you have it paired so that maybe someone can help. You mention through the phone, and I...

    Brp connect

Why in the world did they not use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay????? BRP Connect has probably peaked as far as applications, and is not fully stable. I look back and wish I'd grabbed a 2017 instead of a 2018....

    Genius or Sygic

I much prefer Sygic, last used Genuis a couple of years back when I first got my 2018 (so genius may be updated). I like fact that you can do a route online for Sygic, then place it on the Phone....albeit a little more work than it should be. To best of my knowledge, you have to do a single...

    Genius maps route planning

Sygic does give you the ability to plan a route online with multiple waypoints. There are two ways: 1) EDIT: Sygic pulled support for their online route planner to the Car Connected version of the app.....so will not work anymore. Makes no sense. Sygic has an online planner that is very...

    The Best LED headlight information

Interesting article. Would be interested in comparison of the Spyder bulbs, 360 to 2-Sided, but understand the premise of his test.

    The Best LED headlight information

Thanks. I have the 2 sided, but have read reports that the 360 are much better. May try to give them a shot in the headlights.

    The Best LED headlight information

Good video, thanks. Would be interesting if they updated with more of the newer 360 designs, they only had one in the test. I have 2-sided blades now, and am wondering if the 360s would be a better solution. Thanks again

Help me map out how to connect Bluetooth devices?

Phone to the bike. Bike to the headset as headset main channel, could be headset, phone, or.... (not sure what J&M calls it). Then finally the Zumo to the headset as GPS, that way it will interrupt to read directions. You will need to look at the J&M manual to detremine how to switch between...

    Tom Tom Rider 550

Its hard to tell, but the bar center mount looks the same as the earlier RTs and the F3. If so, the mount at the link below is nicely made and should fit any standard GPS bracket. I have on mine and like it. http://www.lamonstergarage.com/can-am-spyder-f3-rt-gps-swivel-motorcycle-lamonster/

    Gas shock for Spyder seat

You need to replace the shock/cylinder. They are disposable. Very easy to replace.

    Which headset

I've owned 3 Senas and now running a Cardio Packtalk Bold. I MUCH prefer the Packtalk, everything about it is top notch, and the audio quality is far better ---noting I have the JBL version. The only reason to get a Sena IMO is if you ride allot with other Senas, then pairing may be easier...

    Genius Maps or Rever?

Couple of people replied with potential interest Sygic. The online tool I mentioned is discussed at https://help.sygic.com/es/sygic-gps-navigation-for-android/tips-tricks/how-to-use-the-route-planner-tool-on-the-website. Not the best planner I've used, but straightforward.. The conversion...

    Genius Maps or Rever?

I prefer Sygic for general navigation. Rever has some need crowd ride features, but not raeally the same. Sygic will import files, but not GPX. The good news is there is a free program called "ITNConverter" that will convert GPX to many formats including Sygic. You can also do a route on...

    Seat lift strut

Thanks, GREAT info. I had no issue until I put a Utopia backrest on, and a Motorcycle Dave Gel Pad in the seat. Mine will still stay up, but if a fly lands on it pushes it over (very slight exaggeration).......The Suspa would solve any doubt for the long term. Great find.
