• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at Slingmods Luggage Rack - any feedback? How does it look on '24 RT?

I did the same. Mine came with the rack. I kinda like the looks but a PITA to keep the lid open. Took it off and plugged holes. If I could find a good strut that would do the job I would put it back on.

I may have to forfeit my "motorcyclist" membership card!

I have to go along with y'all. I have both 2 & 3 wheelers. Wife does NOT like it when I am out on 2 wheels and says she doesn't worry much when I riding the spyder. I have the 2 wheeler just to satisfy the itch once in a while. Just enjoy yourselves while you can cus it will come to an end...

2024 RT Ltd display shuts off - back to dealer!

I live where there is no one that works on spyders. The closest is about 60 miles away. If I have a problem it's always a 2 hour drive round trip. I have been thinking of a Goldwing trike. At least I can get local help if needed.

New member - 2017 RT Ltd. Love it, but the body roll is a little unsettling!

Will changing just the front tires to car tires make a difference in the rolling sensation?

What's the difference between Accessory Power & Power Expansion Harnesses?

I believe accessory power comes on only when the key is turned on. I connected a voltmeter up to the accessory connector wire on the side of my 2020 rtl.

An Embarrasing but funny story I have to share...

Believe me I get it. Years ago when I didn't drink coffee for breakfast but I drank other drinks. Anyway, after a couple hours of breakfast drinks went out and tried kick starting my motorcycle for almost minutes. Forgot to turn the key on. It does happen.

What are these Splined lug nuts?

I contacted the company that installed the wheels, and they gave me enough info to be able to search and find the correct socket on Amazon.

What are these Splined lug nuts?

Ron, Don't feel bad. A little unrelated, but I bought a Road trek RV and went to take the wheel off. And you guessed it, splined nuts. Aftermarket stuff. Had to buy a socket off amazon that would fit. Good luck.

Spyderlovers - Facebook - Or Both?

I use facebook only because the RV (Roadtrek) I have has a huge following. That's basically the only reason I use FB. I use this site cus I really like it and the info is great.

Chrome or Blacked-out - am I the only one who likes Chrome??

I don't particularly like chrome. I live in the desert and the sun shining off chrome is terrible. Therefore, I like blacked out. Each to his own and there ain't nothing wrong with whatever way you want. It's your machine.

Are the Ultimate seats a good buy?

I have both sheepskin and air hawk. I know this won't help, but it all depends on your butt's feeling(s). We all have different shapes, sizes, and feelings. Try one at a time. Good luck.

How to carry a cane on Spyder RT

I'm glad this subject was brought up. I carry a cane in each vehicle because I have bad feet, ankles, knees, and hips. Therefore I don't know when I will need it. Thanks for the inputs. I will be looking for a folding cane.

    What AirHawk model/size for 2020 RTL ?

Sir, the larger size felt that it moved my inner thighs out a little. A little uncomfortable at times. I had the smaller left over from my 2 wheeler. Works out much better.
