• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else going to the Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally this year?

Maybe I missed it somewhere but this doesn't seem to be many DW3 rally reports or videos.

Refusal to look at my 2015 RT-S by a Can Am Dealer!

It's not only an issue with spyders. Some RV parks won't allow an RV that is 10 yrs or older. It's the way of the world today. Screw the people who take care of your equipment. They want you to buy new. Finished ranting now.

I bit the Bullet, bought a new Spyder - but is this a Shock cover??

That's why people pay big $'s for prep work prior to receiving a new vehicle. Again, great quality control!!!!!

Be careful Riding When it's Too Hot! Hydrate & keep cool!!

I live about 70 miles from Death Valley. It's unfortunate that he died. The heat in the desert is nasty. You ask how hot. It depends on the person. 5 years ago I would ride in 105 degree weather ALWAYS taking extra water and a gatorade or 2 just in case another person needed it cus they did...

Anyone else having problems with Trip meter reset? Any ideas?

I'm glad they made it soooooo easy to set things on these machines. Way too many buttons and stuff. I've owned 3 RTL's and still have to really think when resetting.

Any reason NOT to buy a 2012 RT Limited?

My first spyder was a 2012. I then bought a 2016 RTL 1330. To me the 12 was a 5 speed manual hot rod. I loved the blue color. I currently have a 2020 RTL. It wouldn't bother me a bit to get a 2012 IF the price was right.

Any reason NOT to buy a 2012 RT Limited?

2012 is supposed to be the best year for the 998. Price would be a consideration.

    Reminiscing About Days Gone By...

Went to Bike night a few years where I live. 99% harleys. A couple of people walked up and stated they had never seen a two tone green harley like mine. Of course, Mr smarty pants said, You never will and by the way this is a debadged Yamaha venture. Loved the look on their faces. Priceless!!!

Aluma UT10 or OHT3 - which Trailer would you get?

Thanks for the info. You are the first one to mention that I would need extra ramps. I would be hauling with either an Acura MDX or a Roadtrek RV. Trying to convince my wife I NEED my 5th Tacoma.

Aluma UT10 or OHT3 - which Trailer would you get?

Thanks to all who replied. I like them both, but for different reasons. The OHT3 lowers all the way to the ground. I wouldn't say NO chance of scraping, cus there's always a possiblity. On the other hand, the UT10 is probable more useful overall and the fact the the ramp slides into the...

I probably should have stated they are both used. Around the same price. About the same distance to go pick up.
