• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

propper way to check the oil on a 14 rt

My 1330 engines I screw oil dipstick all the way in I check oil level in my 1330cc F3S (& also 1330 RT previous) engines cold, or hot after running, makes no difference as far as oil level showing. Note: BRP bulletin in 2014 for the 1330 only requires 5 qts of oil. With 5 qts of oil, oil on...

F3S BRP Blue Ridge improved wind protection with raised shield DIY Aluminum mounts

Hi Larry, I took RT shield & mount off so I can cut top angle mount level, & spray Aluminum primer paint on brackets. I had a gut feeling I could make the BRP shield work on the F3S, surprised that it gives decent wind protection for a small across top shield. Riding F3S at 78 mph with helmet...

Great wind protection, no wind noise, no helmet buffeting with 25" high x 27 1/2" wide RT windshield. It is 20" high from top of F3S center handlebar mount. If I slouch, I am looking through top 1" of shield, (I am 6' tall), (which is fine with me to get total quiet wind...

    Spark Plug saga continues

2011 RT front sparkplug removal shortcut Hi, Finless (Bob has an excellent video of front sparkplug /airbox removal. But I used a shortcut on my 2011 RT front sparkplug removal 3 years ago. By just un-clipping air cleaner housing, pulling it sideways out of plastic tab slots, removing air...

Six o-rings for an oil change?

Only the green lower O ring part# 420430115 on main oil drain plug needs a new one for 1330 engine oil changes. Both my 2014 RT SE6 & 2015 F3S SE6 green O rings were found torn (from the factory), when I did first oil changes. A torn green O ring will affect servo pressure, shifting. I always...

WOW, that was fast...........New rear tire needed soon!!

I rode RT in light rain with S.Drive Yokohama 205-55-15 rear tire, and it griped good. Not a downpour rain like you probably ride thru, but I was impressed. The kumho I had on RT prior, I spun the rear tire in light rain at 35 mph. I will be putting on S. Drive on my F3S SE6 in a couple thousand...

WOW, that was fast...........New rear tire needed soon!!

205-55-15 Yokohama S. Drive rear works great I had 4,500 miles on my 205-55-15 rear tire on 2014 RT (before I traded it in). The S.Drive is a much better grip tire, a smoother ride (not as harsh as Kumho on small bumps), seemed to not wear at all in the 4,500 miles. (You can go double the...

    Gear chatter in neutral?

Thanks for update post. If you get a chance ask Len if Chris pulled your F3 bigger sized oil drain plug to check if green o ring is torn. I found my new 2015 F3S SE6 (first oil change) green o ring sliced/torn from factory. It affects the oil supply to hydraulic clutch. I am betting you pull off...
