• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone installed Handlebar Risers on 2020 F3-T?

I'm close you in size at 6'2" with a 35" sleeve length. I recently installed Lamonster's riser on my F3 LTD. Very nice addition as bringing the bars closer to my body gives more bend in my elbow, and less pressure on my shoulders. Worth it for me for a bit more comfort. As Lamonster claims in...

    Belt Guard Removal

I've done the same as you. Last fall, while prepping for winter storage, I discovered those pesky nuts you can't see. Can't see? BLIND nuts to the rescue. Nice to able to make any task a bit easier.

This incident illustrates to me a clear reason why it's always necessary to ride with protective gear.

Can you remove the trunk on a PRE-2020 F3L?

What the black cover panel does not come with is: the BRP stick on logo (I got mine through Amazon), the metal clips that secure the panel in the three rear slots, and two push pins that secure the panel at it's front.

Can you remove the trunk on a PRE-2020 F3L?

I've had the top trunk off, on our 2018 F3 Limited, many times. I can remove the top trunk in about 10 minutes working patiently. It's one of the many ways of becoming familiar with the machine. I reinstall with the ground strap in place even though I don't use the radio.

North Dakota Owners please say Hi.

Hello from Detroit Lakes Minnesota. Do we count being only 50 miles east of the border? After all, we relate waaay more easily to North Dakota than any size metro area in Minnesota. 50 degree days are coming up by Monday so my heated gear will be put to use. My machine is a 2018 F3 Limited...

Another "thumbs up" for the Wolo Bad Boy. Just as Caven says, it's about the right loudness without being scary or obnoxious. Here's a thread about mounting on an F3 if it can help you out: https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?126313-2018-F3L-wolo-bad-boy-horn-mounting

    Unpainted catalytic converter

When my F3 was new, I simply cleaned my cat thoroughly with lacquer thinner and sprayed on a few coats of Rustoleum high heat paint. Thousands of miles later, there has been no flaking or peeling. Heating up the cat, the first few times, really "cures" the paint.

These push pins work for panels?

Here's another handy push pin tool that works well. For the one I have, I modified the tool's head by grinding down the flanges, on either side of the opening, leading down to the shank just a bit. It reconfigured the overall shape of the head. For me, I found the tool works better that way...

These push pins work for panels?

You are welcome! Those push pins are the best deal going, so it's easy/cheap to replace one you might have screwed up lifting those suckers out. With the proper tool even.
