• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Should there be a bolt thru these Empty holes?

Since he is in Australia, I doubt any of us will ever run into that dealer, and judging by Peter's comment in #2, the quality of their work is already known down there.

What's best for Cleaning the Windshield? Anyone use Pledge?

I have been using Yamaha Spray Detailer and wax since 1986. It works great, no scratches, crazing, or fogging. Also use it on my faceshields.

What are our Extended warranty choices?

I bought one from Zurich. That was 9 years ago so I don't remember what the cost was, but it was for 2 years and yes I used it and they were very good to cover my replacement compressor. Fifty-dollar co pay and they covered the rest. I bought it because when I bought my Spyder it was out of...

2020+ SEAT Strut issues - a different solution!

I found a replacement shock at McMaster-Carr with much more holding power and staying power than the stock strut. That was back in 2016 and the same strut is still holding my custom Hartco seat with backrest. Look on the body of your strut and there should be a name and a number. Cross...

Would you try Taking Spyder through a car wash?

I have used the Wands for years. If you don't pull the trigger, you get low pressure. I only pull the trigger in areas that need the pressure to knock off the bugs. Otherwise low pressure is fine. I would not put my Spyder in the Automatic wash bay ever.

Wondering how many owners do not know this is possible?

Yes, I have always been aware of this possibility since I got my Spyder in 2015. Still thanks Martin for teaching this as it appears that many do realize it.

Spyder crash, Prayers for this family

What a tragedy for all involved. Be careful out there. As big as they are, Spyders can still be 'not seen' with disastrous consequences. Remember, the car driver walked away, but he still has to carry the memories.

Rear axle nut cover fell off - doesn't 'snap' on! Anyone lost one?

I don't remember ever seeing any on my Spyder, but then, I also bought used. Anyway, my trailer hitch covers the ends of the axle, so they would have had to be removed anyway.

Never Say a Spyder Can't Flip

It looks like something from the trailer digs deeply into the asphalt as they slide by. There are 3 deep scratch marks that weren't there before they pass. There is something drastically wrong with the left wheel and they are already sliding when they come into view. I think the lip of the...

Any videos on 2013 RT SE5 clutch replacement? Special tool availability?

Does BRP not have this tool for sale in their parts list? Usually the factory has special tools for sale, though often at a premium.

Anyone here like planning their own routes?

I think the same people that came up with Tyre are also doing the MRA, it just superseded Tyre which I think is no longer supported. I have used both and really like MRA, but now just use it to plan imaginary trips as I don't go very far from home anymore. I have imported routes from MRA into my...

Are Tire 'Flat Stoppers' necessary for winter storage??

The only vehicle I have to worry about is my Can Am S x S and trip around the block usually rounds them out. Spyder I never thought about it. I don't even inflate them any extra. Stabil and battery tender. Besides I don't think radials have that problem.
