• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone tried Washing/Cleaning the Pads from inside a helmet?

Hand wash mild soap and warm water. For stink abatement between washings, I always put a scented dryer sheet in the helmet after the ride.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Well kinda. Its just outside of town at a Moose Lodge in some ancient redwoods. The house that we raised all of our kids in is about 300 yds away lol.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went for a ride south on CA 101 to visit my Brother. We talked bikes for awhile and then went out for some Tacos in Fortuna Ca. Came back to camp and cleaned off 4 days of bug carcasses on the F3S.

It's a 2022. The BRP backrest is absolutely great. The Butt buffer pad has the USCG Insignia embroidered on it.

Is an Aerostich suit the way to go? Or not?

The "Stich" no doubt would work for me, and would probably be pretty darn nice just to slip into it and ride, but my gear works and it's paid for. I'm a big fan of leather. Its always worked well for me. Now that I live in Nor-Cal where it's foggy and drizzly particularly in the mornings, the...

How do you determine your head Shape when buying a helmet?

I just went through the whole sizing thing when my modular helmet came apart. Plus, the helmet I had was more round than oval and always put pressure on my forehead. I measured my head and, once I found out what type my old helmet was, I started looking for an intermediate oval. I got fitted...

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

I'm 60% better this morning. Thank the Lord. I was able to eat breakfast and also go out in the snow to fill the Bird feeders. The wife, no change. She's just not responding to the meds yet.

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

I've had the sneer before when I park my jeep in the handicap spot with my disabled Veteran plate. Screw em! If they only knew the level of injuries and pain I'm normally in. 100% DAV and Damn proud of it. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. When you're still awake and you watch the Army...

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

I didn't do anything dang thing with the Spyder today. I've got the flu, and I can't remember ever feeling this rough before. My poor wife has had it for 2 weeks. I was really concerned about her. Poor thing had it worse than me I think. Severe headache, severe body aches, sick to my stomach...

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

If it was me and the law hadn't changed, I'd put the plate on the Spyder & and hang the placard on my pickup. Reason would be because the plate on the Spyder is less likely to walk off than trying to attach a placard somehow.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I use the BRP stuff for the matte black, and I've been using the Meguiar's for 30 years. In the time I've had my Spyder, I've only used soap and water to wash it once.
