• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yeah got mine today too. Supposed to have gotten 1 year extra for pre-ordering, and I bought 2 more so I should have 5 years coverage now. Will see if I can add a 6th year, if not find some SWAG to purchase for $500. Be more attractive for resale with 6 year extended warranty though :)

    The version that got released in April worked fine on mine while I had it. It's been demoed working for the last 9 months. There is no licensing charge for vendors to support ACP.     Yes the message got deleted from the Apple forum almost immediately. I get it, they are there to support Apple Products and CarPlay, not necessarily the lack of an OEM being utterly incompetent and being unable to provide ACP. That's not really their problem.

    It does not work with traditional gloves on. Perhaps the demo guy was using gloves that have the material over the tip of your index finger to let touch screens work through them? I may need to order some myself now that you brought this up :)
