• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Installed HD sway bar.

    It's finally really mine.

Installed the HD Sway Bar today. Attached is a picture of how I swapped out the bars. I used this host to lift the 5th wheel hitch out of my truck. It lives to tell another story. Had Carol on a anti roll over line just incase. On the gravel RV site it was not going to drive the front wheels up...

Must the spring be compressed to allow Adjusting the Shocks?

On my SxS I used a round brass punch ground flat on one spot to knock the lock rings loose. In movable collar adjuster on the newer F3's maybe with two people one holding a dead weight against a tab on the upper ring while to other hits a brass punch on the locking ring the other direction.

Any useful comments or suggestions to help reduce back pain while riding 2023 F3-T - Short Reach Handlebars maybe?

I have been riding 2018 RTLs since Oct 2020, and out on the open road I run cruise control with my hands just resting on the handle bars gently gliding it down the road. Removing one hand at a time once in a while to move it around. I do like the OEM back rest. In May of 2024(a month before my...

    Proper break-in on new Spyder

On my 6 day ride from AZ to WA, I left Astoria OR, crossed the Columba River, and at the North side of the bridge, the GPS wanted me to turn right to I-5 and I wanted to go on up the Washington Coast to Raymond before turning East. And it started raining. When I got to McDonald's in Raymond, my...

    It's finally really mine.

Today I got the Garman GPS mounted and power to it and the Android Auto display. Got power from the provided GPS cable behind the fuel tank on the right side. Installed LED headlights also.

3 wheeler crash on the Dragon - was it a Spyder?

I NEVER NEVER ever drink when I am out riding. And Carol my designated driver does not want to learn how to drive the trikes!

No longer regret buying this ride! Now my 2015 RT-S Performance is Excellent!

Install a 215/60R15 General Altimax RT45 on the rear and Vredestein Quadtrac 165/60R15's on the front. Great combination with OEM front wheels. With 1/2 inch wider PPA ORB wheels I run 175/55R15 Vredesteins on the front.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I will be putting secondary seat and frunk releases on a Spyder for the third time on the recent new to me Spyder. I use bicycle brake cable (both inner and outer) and use cable crimp thingies to make a loop at the pull end and for attaching to the latch.

FS: BRP Tailer hitch and wiring.

I have a hardly ever used trailer hitch that was installed on a 2018 RTL by the first owner, the second owner had it removed when he bought the trike with 1946 miles on it. As the third owner, with 4110 miles on it, I have no interest in towing a trailer. I will remove the wiring from the trike...

Does it matter which way an Asymmetrical tire is installed on the rear of a Spyder?

Correct how? To match the crummy Kenda tires. I have been running 215/60R15 Generals for 6 years, I have one arriving tomorrow from my most recent 2018 RTL. Installed the same size on my other two Spyders and one on in-laws 2014 RT last winter for him.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Buffed out a couple scratches on the newest 2018 RTL, installed foam grips, put a second used strut on the top case lid, put a new longer/stronger strut on the seat. Found it has the longer brake pedal that my 12.5-13 shoes do not like. And put my trade mark fish hook on the frunk lid.

    It's finally really mine.

Anyone have a OEM brake pedal that they want to exchange for an after market long one? Or one that they want to part with? Update I ordered one.

    It's finally really mine.

The ORB wheels are a half inch wider, so I run 175 vs 165 tires. Larger gaps, less spokes, so easier to clean. This will be my third set of these wheels, as I have owned three 2018 Spyders. I really like the 2019 chrome wheel. However, one of those is the same cost of two OEM wheels. I tried to...

    It's finally really mine.

Not going anywhere yet. Tires have 4100 miles on them, however the fronts have a 2017 date code and the rear the first week of 2018. Just orded PPA ORB wheels and 175/55R15 Vredestein tires. A General will be ordered for the rear.

Bought this last Fall and got to see it for the first time this afternoon, when we got it out of my son's garage. Let the upgrades begin. It has it own little car port! -
