• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much, with people getting hit with tornados, flash floods, and mudslides. Hope everyone is OK.

We have had over 2 feet of the white stuff over the last week. Running out of places to pile it. Front yard is about 4 feet deep, the strip between the road and sidewalk is 5 to 6 feet tall. The "motorcycle security system" (see post#33) is now over 6 foot tall and 10 by 24 feet deep. Who...

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

Saw a blond park in a handicap spot. She gets out and seemed healthy to us. When it was pointed out to her that she was parked in a handicap spot, we got a one fingered salute. Then one of the smartasses (who might have me) says. Sorry, I didn't realize you are handicapped, you must be a natural...

Anyone riding 2up on their Ryker? Need a decent seat & backrest, so - Ryker or Spyder RT?

I put both of the comfort seats on mine before we brought it home. When we were looking at the Rykers, the wife saw the high folding backrest. She looked at me and said "We are putting one of those on, right?":giggle: And I got in the last word, "YES DEAR!" Glad to hear you are enjoying yours...

Should I be looking at a left-over 2024 Spyder or risking any price increase on new?

A smart dealer would put everything new (23's through 25's) that he has on the floor, and advertise "BUY NOW BEFORE THE TARIFFS HIT"

Should I be looking at a left-over 2024 Spyder or risking any price increase on new?

Was on the news last night that anything in transit before Feb 1st will not be tariffed.

Should I be looking at a left-over 2024 Spyder or risking any price increase on new?

If the dealer already has it on the showroom or warehouse I don't think the tariffs will apply. If it is still on order, who knows?

    Blue Light Special Anyone?

There are good police officers and bad ones. I think we all have dealt with both at one time or another.

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

Another problem will be after the rains in the spring. Might not get a lot of rain, but with no vegetation to help, there will be a lot of mudslides.

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

I think I would rather have stuck off than on. Probably depends where you live. Where it is cold and damp during the winter. things tend to rust. I have seen a lot of stuck brakes on stored cars over the years.
