• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Considering 2023 or 2024 RT Sea-to-Sky - some questions to help me decide/commit??

It indeed is. I replaced my stock seat for my '21 RT base with the comfort seat. It was ok but this past spring I replaced that with a Corbin 1 piece seat and love it. Side note: If anyone wants to buy the original seat or the comfort seat, I'll sell them at a decent price. Otherwise I may...

Looking for advice on which 2020 Spyder RT Base Rear Trunk to buy?

Or if you want to splurge, buy the add-on from the brp site. If you get it through your dealer, they may give you a discount. Mine did, but at that time, the top case was $1,500 and they gave me 10% off. Now it's over $2k.

    Electric Spyder next?

I'm hoping this push for everything electric goes by the way of the dodo bird. It's costly and does more damage to the earth than natural resources.

What Kind of Rider are you?

I ride during the weekday, but mostly take joy rides on the weekends. I typically don't ride my bike to work because I don't like the idea of it just sitting in the parking lot for 9 hours. I typically don't ride in the rain either. It's not fun for me. Living in the northeast, riding for me...

I Highly recommend the Pedal box

Unfortunately, I bought the pedal box and after a month, kept getting fault codes. I was not successful in getting a refund. Their support was only interested in telling me over and over how to reset it, which would work for a few runs, but then would act up again. I ended up buying the pedal...

Anyone installed the Afterburner tail-light mod?

I installed them and they're working out great. Next up are the lights that attach to the top case, which won't be shipped until some time in January. The more lights the better.

Wow The Black Friday Deals are On

Just bought the lights for the trunk at slingmods. They're expensive but the more lights you have, the better, so it's a small price to pay for my safety.

Is the 7Jurock windshield any good?

At 6' 7" Pete, anything is going to be too low for you. roflmao The nice part about the 7Jurock windshield with the flip at the top is that I barely even have raise the shield. I only raise it when I go on the faster roads where I do 70 mph (112.65 kph) or better. And even then I can get...

Is the 7Jurock windshield any good?

I never got around to answering you K80. I ended up buying the 27" because with the new Corbin seat, I sit a bit higher and the OEM 25" windshield is too low now. With the 27", I can still see over it.

2021 RT Base rear Air Shock Losing air -anyone else?

I don't know if mine loses air that quickly but when I have checked it, I've had to add 20 or so pounds each time. I'm going to save up for an Elka 2 rear shock and replace the air shock in the spring.

HowTo: My '21 RT Battery Tender Permanent Tail Installation.

With me, it's common to have some bolt, nut or screw fall while trying to put something back together. I bought a magnetic telescoping retrieval tool and I'm usually able to retrieve the item.

Hit and run damage to a Ryker!

Delivery truck? It's hard to say whether the driver knew they hit your bike. If they did know, that was pretty lousy of them to leave. I'm guessing they didn't know. Good luck getting reimbursed. If they're a decent company, they'll have no problem paying for it.

My Handlebars are slightly turned to the right. Any easy fixes?

So, the fix is to see if the top plate that holds the bars down is out of line? My issue is the top plate is off to the right a bit, which I'm sure is also making the bars align to the right. But it all starts with the top plate no long parallel to the gauges. I'm not sure I have that much...

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

:agree: I never remove my top case for this reason. The more lights for people to see you, the better. I added the slingmod afterburner lights but I still like the extra light from the top case. Plus, it's eye level for drivers behind me so it's more noticeable. My take is, the bigger the...

I put my Spyder to bed today, for A Long Winter's Sleep!

I was going to break out the battery tenders until I found out that the latter part of this week is going to be around 70. Going to be colder next week so I'll probably prepare them for their long winter's nap at that point.
