• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Leak comes and goes? Shop did not find it. Help???

You say your sons are handy and if you find the problem they may be able to fix it. Therefore, the best thing you can do for the three of you is go to this site and purchase a repair and maintenance manual. It will be the best $24.50 you've spent since you bought the Spyder...

What do you prefer to use for lifting your Spyder/Ryker?

I have a Craftsman Motorcycle/ATV Lift, 50191 that is a lot like the Harbor Freight lift, but I purchased it because the hydraulic system was much superior to my son's HF lift, as it was not at all smooth lowering his bikes that were not anywhere near as heavy as a Spyder.

Is It OK to Make 500 km On the First Day With a Brand-New 2023 Can-Am RT Limited?

They're your dollars, spend them as you wish, but with the 1330 ACE engine you do not need to change the oil and filter before 3,000 miles. The first thing you should do though is be certain you know the proper procedure, in the operator's guide, for checking the oil level and check it before...

Hi, my insurance wants to see the Vin number stamp, any ideas where it will be? 2015 RT

The VIN stamped in frame is somewhat difficult to see because it was stamped on the frame and then the frame was painted. The first thumbnail shows where the frame is stamped. The second is the stamped VIN on my 2014 RT-S. -

2015 F3S Oil Pump Failure, replaced, engine still ticking - any ideas on what component/s might have been damaged?

In a previous incarnation I sat in a court room where a customer was suing the company I worked for for a new automobile engine that had been serviced by one of the company's shops and self-destructed a few miles after leaving the shop and after the Check Engine came on. The judge asked the...

Grease all over the back of my RTL, and I'm thinking, "Where from... ??"

One never knows what kind of crap one is going to find distributed on the back of the roadster and a trailer when on tour or just riding locally. Just happens to be in the hand one is dealt.

What are the required dimensions for a Spyder rear brake piston adjusting tool?

Even if I owned a lathe and know how to use one, I wouldn't waste my time; I'd buy the tool from Bajaron which I did several years ago.

Do you have to pay for shipping a NAPA Oil Test, or is it Pre-paid?

You do have to pay shipping, USPS or what ever other shipping activity you choose to use. The price you paid Napa included the kit and the analysis. Just in case the shipping activity asks, the oil sample is not hazardous material.

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

Pulled the bride's car into the garage this a.m. returning from breakfast out with her, and I noticed the valve stem on the Spyder was exactly at 6:00 and a straight shot for the Harley valve extender, PN 42300009. While I have an electric compressor, I always use an old JoeBlow floor bicycle...

CAUTION - RTL Brake calliper bolts are recommended One Time Use only!

When I removed the bolts the first time I cleaned off the old thread locker, ran the bolts in and out of the threads several times, cleaned everything a second time and when reassembling everything used Blue Loctite on the bolts, torqued them correctly. Everything's fine.

Go online to Revzilla and look at helmets. Look at various helmets you might like and their specs, including what kind of coconut(s) they are designed to fit, round or oval. Do I really need a Battery Holder, or is it OK not to have one?

That saves you a few bucks. When you get the battery holder, if you use a mirror to examine the niche where the battery resides you'll see the slots into which you must put the battery holder, and it makes it a lot easier to anchor it in its home.

Do I really need a Battery Holder, or is it OK not to have one?

You say the battery holder is missing but you did not mention it the rubber strap Latch was still there. There are two parts needed to hold the battery in place from the BRP parts fiche: Ref No. 8b, Latch, PN 520000528, $6.79. Ref No. 8c, Battery Holder, PN 710002893, $15.99.
