• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Suggestions for a Solar Panel to charge Sena h/sets?

I charge mine at night when we are not riding so a solar panel wouldnt work. How about a USB jump pack such as this, https://www.zagg.com/en_us/bolt-acdc-portable-charger-car-jumper-with-ac-outlet-car-charger?cpn=9158638504&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIoN781sn58QIV6HxvBB0InAIWEAQYASABEgL0VfD_BwE&kw= Then...

    Reliability of the Spyder

No, I know the spyder will run on it, and I get the no Ethyl in all octane, if it is available. Just in the higher altitude, towing the trailer up steep grades, I like to run the higherr octanes.

    Reliability of the Spyder

Just got back from a 2 week, 4,000 mile trip out west towing a camper. We always run back roads and in some places would drive over 50 miles before we saw another car, and there were a hundred miles plus between gas stations. Just as with the 2015 that we put 45,000 miles on, the 2020 RTL...

Electric Brake Controller - any ideas on how to add?

I just went back and looked and I purchased that axle in 2014, rated at 500 pounds with brakes for $280.00. Here is some good info that they sent to me. Do not get an axle rated at to high of a load because when a torsion axle is not fully loaded the torsion arm is not rotated to its normal...

Electric Brake Controller - any ideas on how to add?

I didnt order it on line. Living in MI just a short distance from Elkhart IN where a large majority of travel trailers are made, I drove down there and had an axle made. Here is their info. 53664 County Rd 9 Elkhart, IN 46514 Tollfree: (800) 349-3427 Outside US: (574) 264-9434 Fax: (574)...

Electric Brake Controller - any ideas on how to add?

I replaced the entire axle with a new torsion axle with brakes for just under $500.00. Four bolts hold it onto the frame, so a very easy swap and well worth it! As Mike said, the pulling capibility of the spyder is very good, it was the stopping that concerned me, Especially when riding two up...

    Dealer shenanigan's?

Seeing how the same backrest will work on spyders of several years and only the bracket is different, How about the former owner wanted his exspensive backrest on the new spyder and just had to pay for the bracket? Who knows, maybe that is where the rubber plug came from that was then given to...
