• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    No it will not start the spider if the plugs are fouled. Take it in for warranty and update the ecm. Warranty will cover the tow.

    Believe there a switch by the cable or caliper in the rear and a switch in or by the motor. I know theres one by the motor thought I seen one by the rear brake caliper too??

    Look to see if it’s releasing. If it is check the switches along that cable and motor. If cable not moving I would suspect a motor?

    So for just a oil and filter change for lifetime is $899 , the way I read your post. So that should get your investment back after around 4-5 oil and filter changes. Hopefully they are honest and do the work. Then there is the warranty for the rest of the Spyder. Imotorsports is $671 I believe...

    Seems way to high. Let’s say oil change is around 200 bucks. I’m the next 3 years what really is next the him filter. Maybe a few rear tires. Factory warranty is probably all you will need . Your choice. I would shop around if you can too.

    If the battery is bad the maintainer will not work. Two screws cover off. Two screws battery wires off. Pull off holding strap battery removed easy from bike to have some test it for you. Or have someone handy help you.

    That battery maybe bad. That should be pulling over 300 amps for load. Put the load tester back on and check your volts while load testing Take the battery out and bring it in for testing. And dont assume the bike wont shut down if the battery is in the bike and motor running. The battery...

    Rear Brake Piston Will not retract - any suggestions?

    I think you over extended the piston. Trick now is to get it to seat back into the thread while you turn it. Apply pressure while turning it until you can get the threads to catch again. Take your time I just don’t remember with direction to turn but want to say counterclockwise.
