• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Accident and road hazardss

Last year was my first summer on the Spyder. One thing someone shared with me was when traveling on a 4 lane, two lanes in one direction, never remain parallel to traffic in the next lane. Either pass or fall back, if you're in a blind spot they can't see you for a period of time. That, or...

    No Power After Battery Change

Pretty sure it's a bad battery. Mine was the same way when I took delivery, lights all came on but just a clicking noise from the starter.

    Wrasslin with the Battery

BINGO! Thanks Idaho, I think you've got it. I should be able to reference those two slots with the adjacent bolt heads. I hate to waste good cuss words on a simple issue like this, I'll save those for another day for something more challenging.:D

    Wrasslin with the Battery

Different model but same application, thanks. Mine has molding across the top and none of the cables and components are visible which makes it hard to line up the two tabs on the top. Any other thoughts are welcomed.

    Wrasslin with the Battery

Just watching the snow melt here in Wisconsin has me thinking about the Spyder. Shouldn't be too much longer but in the mean time....... How the heck do we reinstall the battery on this thing? (2016 RT, the battery is behind the Frunk) I removed the battery last fall when it went into storage...

    RT Seat Comfy or No?

I honestly don't change my setting much. If I hit a rough patch I might bump it up or down but most times it's in my comfort zone. May also make a change if I'm solo or with a passenger. As far as the seat comfort, I'm fine with that. The backrest is a nice add-on, really no issues.

    R.I.P.

Which got me thinking.... How many MASH Characters have we lost? After doing a quick search; Col. Potter, Col. Blake, Frank Burns, Trapper John, Charles Winchester, Father Mulcahy, Major Freedman (psychiatrist) RIP indeed. A great show and we still watch it in syndication.

    Snowmobiling in Wisconsin

The Winters in Wisconsin can last forever and I've always felt that if we are going to live in this area I should make the most of it. So while the Spyder is tucked away snug as a bug in a rug until Springtime here's a video of how I spend my free time during the winter months. The machine is...

    Hybernation

Hmmm, how bout that.... I couldn't tell from the pictures what size engine you have but we obviously have the same tastes in motorized recreation. Mine is the 900 ACE and I'm just back from our first trip. It's not a Spyder but it's the next best thing.... There are only 6 Covered Bridges...

    HEY....... Don't forget

Low Fluid levels can cause Loose Muffler Bearings. And you don't want that!!!

    The Ground Hog says....

Our local varmint saw his shadow. So another six weeks before we can bring the Spyder out.:gaah:

    Hey, I know you....

Being one of the new people on the Forum I thought it'd be nice to meet the neighbors, so to speak. And with our ability to travel with our Spyders, here's a way to connect the dots by sharing the name of our town and what it's famous for. Everyone's proud of where they come from and this is a...

    Just a quick Hello

Yes, very familiar with High Cliff as we also have a boat on Winnebago but since adding the Spyder we've been boating less and Ryding more.:)

    Just a quick Hello

Yup, did that. Still finding my way around in here.... Hmmm, I wonder where this door goes?

    Just a quick Hello

A Spyder owner/rider since last summer, 2017. Just got around to joining the board and wanted to say Hello from Wisconsin. I'm looking forward to lots of reading & catching up on here. Here's a quote someone shared with me a while back, kind of sums up how I try to live my life.... "I've...
