• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Where did you start?

This is posted in my Bio so here goes nothing. My first cycle was a Bridgestone 90 Street Model. I rode this one before I was licensed to drive and yes, Dad paid the fine when I got caught. Second bike was the 73 Yamaha 350 with Reed Valves. A fast bike for it's day. Crashed that one...

Red Dust of Death Recall???? Front Sprocket Recall - FINALLY....

Safety Recall 2015 to 2019 If this has been posted already, my apologies. I received a letter from BRP today, 6-23-22 advising of a recall on Spyder RT and F3's from 2015 to 2019. The issue is abnormal wear of the front sprocket with potential loss of propulsion. They're offering both a...

does a turbo sound appealing to you?

The 900 in snowmobile application is not the same engine as the 900 Turbo. The Turbo engine has a different crank and pistons to handle the stress of the increased horsepower. So by strapping this thing on I believe you'd be asking for trouble. Just my opinion but when in doubt, trust the...

    Happy Easter everyone!

One of those Giant Wisconsin Hares grabbed these two kids. Looks to be a cross between a rabbit and a werewolf! Kids were released in exchange for a bag of carrots and head of lettuce. A Happy Easter after all!!! God Bless you and yours on this Easter Sunday.

What are the specs for the 900 ACE? Is it the base for the turbo 900 on sleds?

Yeah, when the Turbo came out for Ski Doo a couple of years ago the same question was raised. The engine went from 90 hp to 130 and yes many components are different, namely the crank and pistons. I have the lesser engine in my snowmobile and it has plenty of giddyup for this guy. Results may...

Will I lose saved settings by doing a Battery Change?

No, you're good, settings will be saved once you reinstall the battery. But getting the little bugger in and out of there is the challenge. Set the bottom in first and tip the top of the battery in last, reconnect your cables and you're all set.

    FWIW; Low Fuel Light

I apologize if the subject has been covered here (it probably has) I was curious just how much gasoline was left in the tank when the low level light came on. I have a 2016 RTS and typically get somewhere in the mid 30's for mileage. So on my last fill-up I zeroed out the trip meter with a full...

Dumb question from first time Spyder owner

I don't think there's a light. I have a 16 and have no light either I just watch my miles and fill up when it's getting down there. For me it's between 200 and 275 for miles to being close to empty.

Mini Easy Accessible Storage for Passenger

I did the same thing with my watercraft. The bag was designed for use on bicycles but I find it perfect for storing my dock line. Easy access and convenient.
