• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder...Buyers Market

Well said. I have noticed how much less I would have paid if I waited until now to buy, but I would have missed out on all the great times I had and great people I met over the last year.

    Different Mirrors for RS/GS ???

It would be nice if there was a fix, but any V twin I ever had was like that once you get the engine buzzing.

    Different Mirrors for RS/GS ???

Well I will join that brown nose club. It takes some gumption to be an entrepeneur and be willing to put the time and cost in to develop these products. I am glad they are willing to do it. My Spyder is a better and safer machine because of the products our sponsors come up with. The first...

    Is it worth the money

My passenger tells me the comfort seat is way more comfortable for her. I kinda liked the stock seat better as a driver. The comfort level is the about the same for me, but I did almost slide off the comfort seat taking a curve really fast one day when I first got it. The material on the...

    Installed RT shocks today..

Thanks for testing this out. Please keep us updated. I just put an airshock and auto tire in the rear, and I am looking for alternatives for the front. I also am a man of "extra girth". I did install the sway bar, and noticed a difference with that. I am up to the top position on the stock...

    Iridium spark plugs?

Just put them in myself over the Winter. Bike is running great, but it is one of many things I changed, so I can't be sure its the plugs making it feel stronger. I run them in my 4 cyl bike and it has started and ran flawlessly many seasons.

    Nice ride today!

Hope you and the Spyder are in top shape this Summer. Looking forward to meeting up again with you, HDX, and Road Dog. Went for a ride this weekend, My machine is all back together for now. I still had a couple lighting projects to do, but the weather was too nice to let it sit in the garage...

    Wiggly ride

Good to hear that it feels better. You will feel the effects of an uneven road on the Spyder moreso than on a two wheeler. Much more rubber on the road and spread over a large area. Keep your eyes on the front tire wear. As far as another 11x pounds to carry with your wife on the back...

    Adjustable Risers from Kewlmetal

I can't tell you specifically about the KewlMetal version, I have the NMN 4 inch risers. I can tell you that you will appreciate having risers. KewlMeatal makes good products also, and I think I would have gone that way if they were out when I was adding risers. They have that extra...

    Wiggly ride

welcome You should feel a difference running the fronts at 20. I run mine at that too. If that does not do it, you may want to check your toe in/out. There are threads on how to do that if you want to. Mine was toed out too much and my tires were wearing on the inside, but it was tracking...

    Replacing Light Bulbs

put on 15000 miles last season and both bulbs are still working. But, yes, almost everything is tougher to get to on the Spyder compared to a cruiser type motorcycle that is all open.

Mud Flap Lights with a Triple (play) Twist!

Thanks Scotty, The lights are not switched through ground. I checked with a test light atttached from the positive wire of the triple play to ground at the tank and it flashed the light. And yes, I am a worrier, this is why I ask before I experiment. The mudflaps are installed so I will...

    Drive Belt Needs Adjustment!!

Check this thread. Lots of good info, on measuring both hot and cold. Lamont recommended about 250, thats where I have been running it and have had no problems after 15,000 miles.

Mud Flap Lights with a Triple (play) Twist!

Wiring question I already have the mudflaps installed. They are tapping power from, and are grounded to, the clip lights on the fenders. Do I need to run 4 wires and bring the ground all the way back to the rear singnals on the triple play? Can't I just keep the ground hooked up to the...

Double Play is a Home Run

Yes it is the purple white for the switched Acc fuse #3. Using this one has a nice feature, the front signals will stay on steady as running lights for a half minute after you shut of the key. Don't forget if you use this one, the fuse needs to be put in if that circut was never used.
