• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What, if any, differences or improvements are there on 2024 Spyders over earlier?

These questions are directed towards those of you that have purchased a new 2024 F3L or even a RTL bike. Are the headlights better than previous model years in regard to their brightness? How is the instrumentation appearance as opposed to previous models? Is operating the reverse simpler? I...

Curious for comments on Twisted Sisters ride in Texas?

As a matter of fact, just coming back from riding the Sisters about a week ago. For that area, the roads are nice to ride however as one person has mentioned, do not compare this area to the Smoky Mt or Rockies etc., Nice scenery and riding. When I was there I was treated to the southern...

Contemplating buying a Spyder - any reliability, power, and buyer's remorse issues?

Had a 2020 RTL as first three wheel after parking Harleys. As was mentioned that style bike makes you feel you are on top of it. Took several multi day trip with it including canyon roads in the Rockies. Once you forget how to ride two wheelers and become familiar with the Spyder then it is...

Want to upgrade the ride - Tires, shocks, or both?

Looking at his map, he may have made just one day trip on it. That short of time in the saddle may not give a newbie enough time to fully understand how a Spyder should handle/feel before jerking off OEM parts on the 2020 and newer bikes. If you want this three wheel thing to handle like a...

Dealer set 2022 RTL tire pressures waay high - what do you use?

Original tires all around. Check only when going on multi day trip. 20 psi fronts, 26 rear. After 12000 miles, tires look good. No complaints with OEM tires in hot weather, rain or cold on flat or curvy roads. Just saying...

Is Common Sense going the way of the Passenger Pigeon?

Yep, it is a rant. So often I read on the forum questions about why something is not operating correctly or how to do this or that, when if the person would take the time to go through the owner's manual and become familiar with the bike and how to operate the functions, that could take care of...

New F3S Owner - is it normal for the gearshifts to be this loud?

Just like all the Harleys that I have had. The telltale 1st. gear clunk.

White knuckle test ride - can I learn to like this? Buy newish or older/cheaper?

As others have stated, the riding experience is much different than any two wheeler that you are accustomed to. When I traded my 2017 Harley Ultra for a new 2020 RTL and then rode it home for 250 miles, my first thoughts were"what have I Done". It was really different ride than what I was use...

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

Just reading review on the all new 2025 Canyon Spyder. It is an off-road beefy version of a Spyder. Non paved adventure backroads are now in trip planning.

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

Like in everything else in this world, people will complain more than come out and say something nice. Forums usually are for the complainers and not the atta-boys.

Burning Pain in Shoulder Blades - seating, handlebars, or helmet? Any ideas??

I had same issue with my 2020 RTL then added the two-inch riser plate and it helped. Traded for 2022 F3 L Limited which allows you to sit into the bike rather than on it and came with the short reach bars - shoulder issue has not come back on long rides. Yes, a backrest and using cruise...

Got a 'new' Strange Noise at Low Speed - any thoughts on what to look for?

My experience with 2 Spyders in last 4 years is that there will be more than one different squeak, rattle, and vibration that come and go as time goes by. It's the Nature of the beast. If all systems work, I tend to enjoy the ride.
