• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Alignment time - got a Surprise on the bill!

My dealer is falling behind in the customer service/satisfaction category. Because of the forum, I realized my Spyder (2023, bought Nov. 2023 - so under warranty) has a belt that is out of alignment/out of spec. I had to argue with the dealer to cover it. I had less than 100 miles on it when...

Are there any Ear Buds with Remote control for basic functions?

Interesting - I wonder why I didn't see those... Thanks! I'm not sure if that would accomplish my goal. My personal phone is also Android. I don't "Apple" anything. lol But thank you for the suggestion! I wound up ordering the JBL Click. Single dial control, the most intuitive IMO...

Just had my 1st service done - they used 4T 0W40 synthetic oil - anyone else?

I changed my oil about a week ago with the BRP kit. I drained the Spyder with both plugs out, dipstick and oil filter removed for about 30-40 minutes. It was not dripping at all when I replaced the plugs and filter. I then cleaned up a bit before going back to check the oil level. When I did...

New main computer, odometer reset to Zero - any way to reset to show proper milage?

Super curious on this... How and why were you on the hook for their accidental damage? :dontknow:

    Triangle Cycles, North Danville, VA

There is not enough information to comment on the original post. What was the estimate for? If you are looking at something like an oil change, new tires etc. then that should be a quick price with no "estimate" required. If you wanted them to install an accessory, such as OEM heated...

    How Do You Ride?

Out of curiosity, why do you (or anyone) feel the need to actively pick a number (5 in this case) over the speed limit as opposed to just picking the speed limit and setting the cruise control? Not pointing fingers, just curious. I do the same thing to some extent, but want to hear the reason...

Are there any Ear Buds with Remote control for basic functions?

I think I may have found what I was looking for. I just needed to change my way of thinking a little. Rather than look for an earbud with a remote control, how about a remote control for my phone? I'm going to try something like the below two items, but honestly I am not impressed with either...

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

I honestly have very mixed thoughts on this that will unfortunately now resonate to other shock manufacturers. :sour: I'm not an expert in manufacturing or shocks, but I am glad that the number of proprietary parts is minimal. I hope other manufacturers follow his process on this. This could...

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

:agree: I also find it sad that there was no way he could find to keep the doors open by hiring or bringing in someone to assemble. If i was local I would offer to assist. I didn't know he was pretty much a one man show. i thought he had a small shop with something like 5-10 employees. I...

    How Do You Ride?

I honestly forgot how I voted, but taking a second look at the results and questions in light of recent posts, I have to wonder why so many ride to keep up with the flow of traffic. YES, I know if the traffic is flying at 80 mph and your going the speed limit at 65 you are at risk of being...

Has anyone purchased a 2024 F3S? Do they still come with the rear cowl?

I'm a bit envious of the yellow spider you have. lol It would have been my color of choice had it been an option for 2023 (or 2024) when I bought mine. Manta Green is also very cool and I loved it from the beginning, but given the choice......:doorag: I'm also super interested in the rack...

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

I am planning to buy shocks after the riding season this year for a "winter garage project". M2 was at the top of my list due to the quality (perceived, based on reviews and research) and I loved the simplicity of their adjustment. This is sad news, but I guess it's better to know before I...

Are there any Ear Buds with Remote control for basic functions?

Yes, my current earbuds are blutoothed to my cell, that I keep in my jacket pocket. I don't use currently use GPS. You say "device" - what device? That's what I'm looking for ~ I assume any device would be part of the earbuds. Any controls would have to be large enough for a gloved hand to...

    How about a new rt?

I believe I posted that link in another thread. I was really disappointed when after 5 seconds I realized it was all fake, Ai with no basis in fact. Some of them looked really cool though.....

What did you do to your Spyder today?

9/07/24 I gave my Spyder it's first ever official wash, wax & detailing. It's a bit harder than the Motorcycle, but still much easier than the car. the hardest part? - The rear wheel! :sour:

Had to wear Gloves for Can Am riding course - Do you wear gloves? Why? Or why not?

YES. I wear gloves 100% of the time when on the road. The only time I don't is if I'm moving the Spyder on the driveway or turning it around etc. for garage work or cleaning. All gear when going faster than 3mph. To each his own, but it just doesn't register to me how anyone would...

Has anyone purchased a 2024 F3S? Do they still come with the rear cowl?

This is really too bad they stopped offering this as standard on the F3-S. I suppose they thought it out pretty well as they also went backwards in color options for 2024 (IMO) with only black as the main panel color. This way they only need to offer the black rear cowl. I think the color...

What "Other" tires work for Spyders?

Please educate me. I've read a bunch of threads on what tires are suited for Spyder's and there only seem to be a very sort list of recommended brands or sizes being spoken about. I also heard that the rims are more akin to car rims than motor cycle rims. So why can't a a decent car tire...

Any thoughts on this Handlebar vibration/shake?

The tire pressure was low, about 3-4 PSI each. I filled them up to the recommended 15psi/Front, 28psi/Rear. It was dark on the ride in this morning so hard to see if it made any difference. It's a new (640 miles on the odometer) Spyder so yes, stock tires. If it's the OEM tires and the...
