• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check Suspension drop down message appears intermittently - any ideas/help?

Using the Schraeder valve underneath the seat and eliminating the pump still leaves the airbag, and all the piping still in place as possible failure points. The air bag and the pipe work are failure points all of their own. Does removing the pump and integral bleed off valve assembly, or even...

Any advice on adjusting toe on the front wheels? Is the job doable without BUDS?

There’s a little tension tool they usually have for setting drive belt tension. It’s a “sonic belt tensioner tool” and even has a BRP part number. There are other equivalent products made by belt manufacturers themselves which work too so it’s a common tool for setting belt tension accurately...

Does anyone have actual measured data for the various OEM Handlebar options Pull back on 2024+ RT's?

That's clever, I never thought about that. I'll try fitting it and giving it a go. The problem is with the arthritis mostly in my left leg, so I might have to go from the other side.

Does anyone have actual measured data for the various OEM Handlebar options Pull back on 2024+ RT's?

I did without the rider back rest. With my arthritis I can't get on and off with it fitted. Also, even at 6 foot tall, I couldn't sit far enough back to use it without it being a long stretch to the bars. Instead, for long rides, I wear one of the older hard plastic spine protectors that fasten...

Does anyone have actual measured data for the various OEM Handlebar options Pull back on 2024+ RT's?

The geometry of the Sea to Sky seat is a little different to the RT LTD. My wife says it's a huge difference on the back. She says it was worth the extra cost of the S2S for that feature alone. To my mind, the seat's a little taller and certainly more comfortable. I would wait and see if it...

Does anyone have actual measured data for the various OEM Handlebar options Pull back on 2024+ RT's?

I have a 2026 S2S. I'm 67 and 6 foot (or used to be...) I just added a 1-1/4" riser and that was enough for me. I would suspect therefore that bar risers might not be enough for you. Due to the angle of the steering head even adding 3" to the bar height isn't going to bring them back more than...

    Found a 2017 F3S - Should I get a used one? Pros & Cons??

If the tires are original and nine years old, I wouldn't care if they had done zero miles and rarely seen daylight, I would change them immediately. Tires have a shelf life. Most manufactures recommend changing tires before they are ten years old, regardless of condition. They are due to be...

Check Suspension drop down message appears intermittently - any ideas/help?

The Schraeder valve is already there, it's under the passenger seat on the right for most air suspension Spyders. You would have to blank off, or bypass the pump to seal the system. However, I like the air suspension. After the initial problems I had, the system works very well and I appreciate...

We found a Cooler for the 20+ RT frunk!

Premium at Costco here today, which is 91 octane at this altitude, had dropped a bit to $4.50. Came back from Southern Utah last week where I was paying up to $5.50 or more per gallon. Glad I took the Spyder at 38 mpg as opposed to the SUV at about 16 mpg.

We found a Cooler for the 20+ RT frunk!

I'll be at Costco tomorrow, and if I have any money left after I fill up my SUV with gas , I'll go in and buy one.

Check Suspension drop down message appears intermittently - any ideas/help?

Do not surmise that this might be the only leak. Back in 2021 when I bought a new 2021 RT LTD, there were actually four leak faults. I'm not say you should be so unlucky but if the leak has been for a while and therefor the pump has been running continuously, be prepared that the pump may have...

We found a Cooler for the 20+ RT frunk!

What a brilliant idea, I can store the second set of cooling vest cold pack inserts in there too. Is that Costco per chance?

2020 RT Brake Issue - had the recall, pedal still won't return on its own! Any ideas?

It’s six years old now. I’d check the master cylinder isn’t overfilled preventing the pistons from withdrawing. Someone may have topped it up for sale. Because of its age, I’d have the fluid replaced, I.e. flushed, by the dealer, using the BUDS system to flush the ABS pump. After six years I...

    Traded my 2022 F3 Ltd for a 2024 F3 Ltd - lots to like!

I just put a 1-1/4" riser on my 2026 Sea to Sky. What I notice is the bars on my bike are located by a pin that stops them rotating forwards and backwards in the mount. I found if I loosed the clamp, the bars can rotate through about 5 to 10 degrees forwards and backwards. After playing about...

Can I mount an iPhone on the handlebars of a 2020 up to 2023 RT and play music from it over the Spyder's sound system?

Oh, you lucky reader. On 2024 or later models you can upgrade the firmware to V 5.1.0 using your home Wi-Fi. The it allows your phone, iPhone and Android, to connect sing the latest version of the BRP Go! app visa USB. Preferences->Navigation and then set default to BRP Go!. Before you get too...

    Found a 2017 F3S - Should I get a used one? Pros & Cons??

That's 9 years old with only 4,500 miles. I'd want a service history with oil changes done by time rather than miles. I'd also factor in things can perish and corrode if not ridden frequently so I'd want it checked out for obvious time related problems. If it actually clocked up miles in recent...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Perhaps make sure you polish or brush off any corrosion that built up between the old rotor and the hub to get a nice clean mating surface. I found I had to take everything off and start again, as I failed to do that on a motorcycle I had in the past, and one of the disk's just didn't sit right...

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

Current XPS brand Kendas seem fine, wet or dry. I'm sure car tires are better, but for now I'll spend the money on gas and hotels, not tires. Stock sway bar and shocks are much better with the new tires than they were with the old tires on my 2021 LTD. The newer tires are less of a suspension...

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

For a 2026 Sea to Sky, I must admit I'm not unhappy with the XPS branded Kenda tires they are shipping with now. I'll wait until they wear out before deciding what to fit next. I've ridden them in the heat, the cold, in very twisty mountain roads in both the dry and torrential rain and they seem...
