• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally! Take delivery after Labor Day. ECO Mode any good?

I'm curious as to why you use eco mode on the interstate? I found that eco mode doesn't provide that extra burst of power that is needed at times, like trying to avoid something with a quick movement or additional acceleration climbing a hill. In 2014, when I tried eco mode, I only used it at...

Is there any other way of disengaging cruise control?

When one taps the brake pedal to disengage the cruise control (on any so equipped vehicle), I don't think the driver behind you immediately thinks you are stopping, but thinks, "oh something may be happening and I better be ready." When I see a quick flash of a brake light on the vehicle in...

the KEY to Happiness - replacing the Spyder's ignition key!

I have read several posts regarding replacing a Spyder key, and its cost, so out of curiosity I searched the cost of replacing the smart key fob for my 2021 Traverse. I can get the key fob for 109.95 online. Then I will have to have it professionally programmed when brought to a dealer, and...

When and where was the first time you rode a Can-Am tryke ??

This is a great question! My answer will be long winded as it took me 60 years to buy a motorcycle! I was fortunate in being able to retire at 57 yrs. old. In 2010 at 58 yrs.old I wanted to do something new. I decided to follow my best friend and get my motorcycle license, he had his for more...

I'll use my Ram mount as EZ pass holder - what do you use?

When I lived in NJ I had both a NJ and a NY EZ Pass. At the time I received a discount on the NJ Tpke and the NJ-NY Bridges and Tunnels and when using the NY EZ Pass received the discount on the NYS Thruway and the NY City Bridges and Tunnels. I did this for my cars and Spyder no big deal...

Should Tupperware be this far off

Would you accept a new car with panels not adjusted properly? I think not, so I would require the dealer adjust the panels correctly. I also don't understand why people accept their bikes with obvious defects but wouldn't accept a refrigerator if it was scratched. Ride Safe.

I'll use my Ram mount as EZ pass holder - what do you use?

I have had my EZ Pass installed on the left side air deflector under the windshield, using the EZ Pass velcro strips. I have had it installed in this position since 2012 (currently I have a 2014 RTL). I take it off when washing, having it serviced or trailering (don't want to pay double tolls)...

Electric Windshield adjustment bar broke. Any suggestions?

Just wanted to update you on my quest for the windshield arm bracket repair and its installation. I made an appointment (2 weeks ago) at my dealer as I have no place to do major repairs. In the meantime, I removed the windshield so I could ride and searched for the part. I ordered it from an...
