• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Happy Birthday

I share my birthday with all Veterans (11/11). I had a great 72nd birthday, sharing a meal with children and grandchildren. I am recovering from surgery so I couldn't do my traditional birthday ride. I'll do that later in the month.

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

First, I have to ask Why didn't you ask or investigate this question before you purchased the trike and aftermarket insurance? You were told by one person there was 8 months left and by another there is no warranty. Second, If you had doubts, why did you purchase the trike? Third, Did you get a...

Where can I find a 2016 Freedom Trailer Service Manual? Any download versions?

On the BRP website there is an operators manual for the 2017 Freedom trailer: https://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/public/get_public_guide.php?idGuide=3181 Since you found one for the 2015 you can compare the 2 for any differences. It is a simple trailer, so I guess there would be no...

Pulled the trigger on a new '24 Sea to Sky (my first Spyder).

I don't think this has been upated since its initial posting, but it still provides valuable information for a new Spyder owner. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?41346-****-quot-DO-S-amp-DO-NOTS-quot-for-NEW-SPYDER-OWNERS-****

Can I do a Tri Axis handlebar swap from a 2014 RT to a 2015 RT & vice versa?

As been said it's a big job and if you're moving it from one trike to another you at least doubled the effort. To get a good idea on the work here are installation videos done by Finless Bob. I haven't seen him post in quite a while but he provided great and valuable information. You can find...

Automatic suspension adjustment - "Manual" warning

You have a schrader valve, this is from your 2023 F3 Ltd Owners Manual page 63. If you don't have a manual you can view it on brp's web site. "The air spring is connected directly to an air hose with a schrader valve located under the seat"

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Why don't you move your vehicle under both circumstances? You can still get your receipt if you move the vehicle, just need pump number.

Wondering how many owners do not know this is possible?

I've been using this feature since my first RT in 2012. Thanks for informing all. And another tidbit for some: If you want to leave your radio, lights, etc. on or don't want to wait for your ride to go through its loading procedure and are only stopping for a short time just hit the kill...

Any Ideas on how to get dual input via a 3.5 cable?

My Problem Free time with the RT is over!

An FYI on battery replacement - I started to get the VSS code on start-ups on my 2022 RTL and told my tech about it in April 2024 while in for its yearly service. He checked the battery and told me it was the cheap BRP battery (as many on here attest) and I should replace it. I did replace it...

What is the number of hours required to assemble an RT?

I used an AI app and it returned: "The assembly time for a Can-Am RT Limited at a dealership typically ranges from 4 to 6 hours. This includes unpacking, assembling, and performing a pre-delivery inspection to ensure everything is functioning correctly."

How many times can a Spyder be turned on & off between tries without failure?

When I first read this I immediately thought 1.2 million tries. Then I gave it due consideration and decided 53 because that is the number of years we are married and have not had a failure yet!!! Waiting for the reason as I may have to change my guess.

Will the 2024 Spyder Dash allow you to plug in USB & play MP3?

Using just the USB I will say as stated in the 2024 RT manual. Perhaps you can do as Peder (comment 7) has done.

Audio System Won't Load When Hot

On my 2022 RTL, at times after fueling, breaks or anytime I turn off the Spyder I have to reconnect BRP to blue tooth on my cell phone. So, I disconnect from the phone then re-connect. It's quite unsafe since I usually don't wait for to find out that blue tooth hasn't connected properly before I...
