• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you seen the Quad GoldWing !

That is one fine machine. I wonder if it would be considered a motorcycle or an automobile? I looked further into the link and found something I could do with my V-Rod. Thanks, Bill

I agree with RT. Ride as you would a two wheeler and brake in a turn only as an emergency measure.

    Shocks vs. Swaybar...

I have a 2012 and recently added the Bajaron sway bar. Amazing improvement. My opinion would be to go with the 2012 shocks and the Bajaron sway bar, as I understand the newer shocks are improved.

    Airbag

Wazoo, I'm assuming you're in Jacksonville, Florida, if that is the case you could try to find someone who works at the Naval Air station that could hook you up with an ejection seat rocket to send you on your way.

Another Story about Bajarons new Sway Bar for 2012 RT's

I installed "The Bar" a month ago 18 PSI in the front tires, shocks set at 5, one up or two up riding. The Spyder is a different machine, as I said in a previous thread, it handles like it's on rails. I don't see a need for further suspension modifications. This is how the machine should have...

    Tool Time with Jim

Wow, I remember back in high school, I was making a fender bracket for a mini bike. The bit in the drill press grabbed the bracket and it started spinning around, making a major racket. I guess I should have clamped it. The shop teacher threw his keys at me, you know the BIG bunch of keys they...

    Two Brothers Exhaust

Two Brothers Titanium on my RT LTD. As stated above, sounds great, love it. The butt dyno says there is an increase in low end torque, I know that sounds contrary to popular belief, but it does seem to be better in my opinion.

The "Modern Classic" Triumph provides evidence of major improvements over the last 40 years. Electrics are no longer a problem, the 900cc engines are counter balanced, so the vibrations are not as much of an issue as in the past, and they don't leak oil anymore. It's not a Spyder by any stretch...
